So far, this has been a great purchase. My son loves it! We have only had it for a couple of days but it has been fun.

Fun for the little guy!

I chose this ride-on because it's different and relatively rare. It took about an hour to build. The instructions aren't exactly perfect, but it wasn't too complicated to figure them out. I'd rate the build quality 4.5/5, deducting .5 for the reason of too much body flex. This would NOT be a ride-on that you'd want to test the weight limit. Other ride-ons have a very stiff unibody. This one does not. With that said, it's going to be perfect for my 3 year old. Beware that this ride-on is wider than most. It is very wide. It does not fit through any door of my house. It would be best to have a lot of open space to play with this ride-on.

Pros: Aggressive design, fun features, two-seats, very good build quality, rare in the market, good motors, battery came fully charged, the decals are very nice.

Cons: The headlights are not real, as depicted in photos on the box. The unibody has a bit too much flex. You have to remove the seats to charge the battery. It tops out at 5MPH. I think 6 MPH would have been better for this particular ride-on.

I'd buy it again.

Bought the slingshot to match the real one that we own. It looks awesome assembled. It took us about two hours to complete. The instructions are a little vague. The windshield was missing from the box. I will be calling Peg Perego today for a replacement.

Slingshot ride on assembly

My son turned 3 today and this was his gift . He absoluely LOVE it !! I have a 1 year old as well and she rides shot gun lol it took about 2 hours to build up. It is a task ! We was missing a couple pieces but was able to do without. I love the the car and definitely recommend it . It looks big is it fits a 3yr old perfectly

Has my approval

The motor reassembled wasn't right.
After i put everything together, it wasn't operating correctly.
Two rear wheels drive was running opposited direction from each other on driving forward and reversed.
I had to test and rewire myself in order for it to operate correctly.
Cheap thin plastic 
No light nor ignition switch

Not worth $400, over pricing

smaller than i thought it would be inside.   A 3 year old fits ok but put a 5 year old in there and pretty tight.   Looks pretty sweet though.
