So this unit doesn't "blow" heat out of it, if you want a heater that give you immediate heat blowing on you, this isn't isn't it.  This radiates heat, like the sun.  Stand too close, you will burn, yup, and flammable things might too.  I like to put Smarties in front of them, for like, 10 minutes, then grab the box and pour a mouthful and eat them , they're so warm and melty.  Anyway, I like that this radiated heat seems to keep the whole room warmer overall than the more targeted heater that blows usually in one direction and my breaker!  This hasn't blown my breaker.. yet.  I mean, its Quartz so you know its got to be good.

I haven't had any problems with this heater at all, so it must be you. Make sure you are plugging it in to an outlet that supplies at least 25 A. Otherwise, that is probably why you are breaking the unit. It needs a little bit of power it is of course a heater. Use an extension cord, plug it into the area where your washing machine plugs into, that will be a 25 amp outlet, in your kitchen/washing nook. Most houses, have 15 amp outlets and this will break certain appliances, like heaters.

The heat spreads out if you positioned the heater back about 4 feet it covers my entire sleeping area. Of course the rest of my living room is icicle cold, but I have warm air where I sleep and when I get up in the morning I flip it around and my work area gets nice and warm.

It cost a little bit to run this though, I thought it would save me a little bit of money. Don't run any other heaters if you have this. This is enough, it fills up a large area. Other reviewers are talking about how this broke in two weeks, normally Polonus products are not very well-made, this however is. I have not had to use it on any setting higher than the first setting all winter. It actually is a little cheaper to run than my old-fashioned coil space heater, which cost me $300 to run in January a year previous. This has not cost me near as much as that. I'm using it right now. It is cold. I am warm.

This little heater works so well. It warms up the room quickly and the thermostat keeps the temp steady as explained in the manual. It is going to be very cost effective as our electric rates increased by a massive 40%

So good !!

i heat my home with only electric heaters. ive bought many others prior.( all 1500W) it took 2 to heat my kitchen. 
this is the 1 to get!!! 
i was able to turn the other 1 off in my kitchen and it produced MORE heat than  the $100  one! 
also it makes NO NOISE at all. At 1st, i was afraid the "blower" was broken since 0% noise, but it warmed the room FAST. 
i already ordered a 2nd 1!  
i plan to order a 3rd.

ULTRA QUIET is right!

I bought mine 4 yrs ago and this heater has done very well I'm surprised when hit 28 degrees you gotta put the wall heater on but day 1/13/28 with wall heater and my heater the house only hit 69 so I got another one and bam 1 hr later well the house is 77 degrees happy man for a great product

The rooms in our house get really warm and our living room stays much colder, so having this through the colder months in our living room has helped so much! Keeps our rooms at a good temp because we don't have to heat our house more than necessary also keeping our gas bill down!

Heats up the whole room

What I absolutely do not appreciate is the raggedy boxing. It appeared to have been opened and taped. However upon opening the box the plastic the heater comes in with secure the plastic around the cord is secure it clearly has not been used. I don't like how this heater rattles even though the heater seems to be secure. I don't know if something's loose internally which I cannot see. However what I do like, as noticed in the pictures is it has three bars if you have it on high all three bars light up medium heat two bars light up low heat one bar lights up. The heater is tall it seems to be at least two feet tall.  I'm sure it's a good heater and I love that the indicator light shows that the heater is plugged in. I wish I could update. I am concerned about the rattling sound but there is no smell and nothing is burning now that I have plugged it in. It will warm an average size bedroom. This bedroom fits a queen size bed along with a desk, nice size room. It does heat up gradually. Oh the radiant elements are about 3 inches away from the grill, however the grill does become hot to the touch. It seems safe if you keep objects far enough away from the heater. Enjoy this reasonably priced effective functional heater

It's a good heater...it gets the job done

Terrible product. Broke within the first few hours of use. Never heated up at all. Very disappointed. I've read recently added reviews of this heater mentioning  “fire”. Please don't buy this product it's not worth your time money or most importantly your life!!!! Pelonis you need to recall this product!!!! So scary!

Don't do it!!!!!!!

The heat is very strong which I liked in the beginning but it doesn't stay on for more than 10 minutes and i wouldn't have had a problem with it if it just turned itself back on again once it cooled but it doesn't.

Turns off after 10 minutes.

Be very careful with this space heater...After it was plugged in for an hour, I did a safety check on the plug... The plug was hot to the touch and hot going down the cord by 1 inch... I didn't trust it.  I am returning it this afternoon.

It's unsafe.
