This grass grew under a pecan tree where nothing but weeds have grown for years. Even my neighbors bought some to grow under their fruitless Mulberry trees and it grew where nothing grew for countless years! These pictures are where the grass came back to life just weeks ago after this winter. We got the biggest bag $68 for 40 or 44 pounds. Well worth the money and we bought a second bag this year for the back yard!

Great Tall Fescue grass seed

I used this in my front yard and saw a HUGE difference in the area of thickness of grass aswell new ones sprouting up. I used a little bit of soil   grass seed and mixed them together and water it twice a day. I saw improvement within the first week and continued doing this everyday for only one week and my grass has been THRIVING. I highly recommend trying this if you need help with grass growing. The yield was massive and I will buy more.

purchased to fill in spots that were bare. but now I'm honestly contemplating removing and seeding my yard with this grass seed. ots so soft and plush to the touch, not dry and sharp like moat grass usually is.

I've bought this grass a few times and once it eventually sprouts it's such a beautiful shade of green and looks great! However it can be a bit tricky to get it to sprout. It can take several weeks or more sometimes. Under perfect conditions it will sprout in a week or so. For me, early spring in March seems to give the seed the best opportunity to sprout and root-in fully before the summer heat hits. It's good to rake the seed into the soil a little bit, or even mix it with some soil before planting it.   Otherwise, the seed can tend to dry out and then it won't germinate well. Once it finally sprouts and roots-in well the grass is very tough and holds up to foot traffic and heat well. Don't mow it too short the first few mows and it should be good to go.

I actually put this grass seed down in late Spring.  That's when the tree was taken down.  In all fairness I have re-seeded that area again because we had such a hot summer.  It's close to mid October now so hopefully I'll have a nice lush area of grass to look at come Spring.  I'll keep everyone updated.

I see small weed growing in with the grass. Did i buy weed seed??? I thought this was real seed but it obviously has some other seeds in it. Not happy. i should've spent the extra money and bought the Kentucky grass seed, i bought the first time. So not recommend this seed.

The grass seed does not work. I followed the instructions as written and nothing. Waste of money

This picture is of the seed being down for over 3 weeks in moist soil with plenty of sun. Not one piece germinated. A total waste!!!

Did not germinate at all!  A total waste of $60

I used a grass seed spreader so I would have an even layer of seed we had plenty of rain so water was not an issue. It has been 2 or 3 weeks now and nothing has grown. I can still see the grass seed laying in the yard but no grass. I am very disappointed!!!!!!!
