Snug fit with wide straps design; so the shoulders shouldn't chaff  as long as you wear a shirt underneath) .I t comes with small weights that you can put in the front or back ( so if you need to start with twenty then go for it; you can strengthen yourself up to the full forty soon). I like it.

I recently received this product and really enjoy it. This item needs to have more Velcro attachments if it really wants to be similar to a bullet proof vest. The increase in Velcro would allow for a tighter fit for the top and bottom not just in the middle. I still get great workouts using this item.

40 lbs Velcro vest

The vest is well made and balanced. It fits nicely on your shoulders without rubbing or pinching. The only complaint I have is that the Velcro waistband is too stretchy and the otherwise tailored fit can be a bit loose when doing activities that involve quick or change of motion. I bought it for walking and hiking and that's what it's good for.

Shoulder strap ripped after a short time. The vest wasn't even at 40lbs at the time. Only 25 lbs. Disappointed since it cost me $119 plus tax.
