This tree was packed very tightly in the box, but I was pleasantly surprised how full it became after I assembled it and pulled the branches out and fluffed them up. It is sold as a 5 foot tall tree. It is way short of 5 feet. Definitely closer to 4 foot, especially since there is one very long branch sticking straight up out of the top about seven or 8 inches long! LOL. That branch is very flimsy and definitely would not hold a tree topper. It needs to be folded down,  and then the tree is definitely closer to 4 foot tall. I will be keeping this tree though, as I am very happy with the fullness, the quality, and I plan on sitting it on a box to make it taller.  I almost bought a skinny tree, but this tree is prettier than those and  it is not much bigger around anyway. Would definitely buy this tree again. (On clearance!)
