Filling is a smooth process with a secure mechanism.

Just right for my finches' and canary's seed in their indoor aviary.  Looks good too.  The guys would run out of seed otherwise.

Birdie Brief!

This is a well-made feeder with a good weight to it and a sturdy locking top. My birds liked it so much that I went back to Walmart and got a second one. Then I bought one for my daughter. Many types of birds have fed from these feeders at my house, from nuthatches to woodpeckers, and sometimes there's a crowd on it at once. It works well with songbird blends. I also use a woodpecker mix, which all the birds love, but I have to unclog the bottom of the feeder after it rains because the large nuts get wet and stick together. (I think this may be because the woodpecker mix is really meant for a different kind of feeder, so that didn't affect my rating.) So if you use feed with the larger nuts, just keep a check on it in wet weather! The feeder is easy to take apart and clean. I really recommend this feeder and so do the birds!

Cute bird feeder

A little smaller than I thought it would be.  Love that it is metal & glass rather than plastic.  It will hold up well.  The birds love it & I'm getting a few different varieties.

Very nice bird feeder

Awesome bird feeder here folks. Its made from metal so it will very durable compared to plastic feeders.  This feeder will definity last alot longer then plastic feeders
It is very easy to refill compared to those twist and lock lids. Just push in on the lock & slide the lid up the hanger wire, refill it and slide the lid back in place.
Holds about 2 pounds of food. I have bluejays, grouse,  little grass birds & even a chipmunk that feeds daily from my  feeder.
Great looking bird feeder a major step up from those plastic gazebo birdfeeders.
I should have grabbed acouple more to store in my garage for whenever i will need a new one but im sure this one will last a while.

Durable,  heavy duty, metal bird feeder

All in all this is a good feeder for the price. What i did not like was putting the lid back on.  Sometimes it took over 5 mins to get the groves perfectly lined up to twist on, mostly because one cannot see what they are doing.  Its all by feel.  I would still buy it again

Satisfied enough.

This is smaller than I thought, and doesn't hold as much bird seed as I would like.  Also, the metal wire that you hang it by is too long, making the feeder swing like crazy when birds land on it.  There should be a way to adjust the length of the wire, but there isn't .  Bad design in that respect.  Also, it's plastic, so we'll see how long it holds up in the Texas heat.

Wish feeder was little bigger, also seed tray could be slightly bigger to allow birds to stand in tray so seed would be kicked out for ground feeders.  Not to crazy about the cable mount system because feeder is constantly swiveling back and forth. Our old feeder had threaded rod through feeder to hang it, which made it stable.

This feeder is good-looking and seems to be well-built but is not squirrel proof. The top lid does not lock in place as it is only held shut by a slide lock type mechanism (think draw string clasp) that a squirrel was able to pull up within five minutes of hanging with feeder.

If squirrels are not an issue for you then I would recommend this feeder, otherwise you will have better luck with a different product.
