Bee guards

Our hummingbird feeder has lost all its flowers over the past few years and this year BEES were getting into the feeder and draining it. We decided it was time to replace the missing flowers to keep the bees out.

These worked great at keeping the bees out, with one caveat... We have one of the listed feeders and the flowers fit into the holes alright, but they're just sitting in there. We could never get them to "snap" into place as instructed. If it wasn't for that I'd have given them 5 stars.

Though not like the original these parts will probably work in my feeders. Good price.

almost exactly like the oiginal parts

The item advertised is not the item received.  These replacement flowers have raised ports rather than the flat ports of the original Perky Pet feeders.

Picture of item is not accurate

These are not exactly what was pictured they have a raised center. The only reason I ordered these was because the picture is of the ones my hummingbird feeder had. These cheap ones I received i child of hot for $4 anywhere. Betty disappointed!

Product is NOT what is pictured

I kept getting lots of wasps feeding at and stuck in my hummingbird feeders that have yellow flowers, so I asked an entomologist if there was a way to discourage the wasps without discouraging/harming the hummingbirds. He said to remove the yellow flowers as the wasps are attracted to yellow. Sure enough, I removed the yellow flowers and the number of wasps in and on the feeders fell to almost none while there was no change in the number of hummingbirds. All of my feeders have just red 'flowers' on them and the hummers have no problems finding them - one bird expert even told me that hummers either do not see yellow or are not attracted to it. Save your $$$ to buy more feeders - without yellow flowers.
