Can be effortless, but also challenging due to design.

Well made.  Attractive.  Wanted a feeder to attract cardinals but they still prrfer to eatthe seeds on the ground.  The othrr birds love it. It is enjoyed by a large no of smaller birds.

Odd to call this a wild bird feeder.  What other kind of bird is there that lives outside?  It's neat and easy to use and there is no list of instructions on how to put it together.  You pull it out of the box and its already done for you.  I like that and the birds seem to like it.  It took a couple of days but when they found it they spread the word because there is always a bird or two on there.

Wild Bird

This feeder replaces an ONION feeder. It is similar but with no perch. This one is the same style and the only one I could find like my previous feeder.  The RED color is a bit off-putting. We only use sunflower seeds so we have not seen any different perching birds. 
  It works just fine. The birds have not noticed a change!!! Hahaha

When you fill feeder by putting on the ground it collapses. I guess that's for storing away, but we keep it out year round . We have to adapt .

Good purchase!

This was a  terrible product.  The grackles and the Squirrels loved!  After two dayys the Sam the Squirrel jumped six feet up to the top of the feeder. After a couple of minutes, he  climbed down and laid on bottom edge and consumed 25% of the seed!  Next he climbed back on top and took a long nap.

Makes a very entertaining squirrel feeder. JUNK!
