The best squirrel proof feeder yet!  Love to watch the squirrels try to get the food when their weight closes the access. My feeder is mounted only 12" from the pole so they can support their weight half on the pole and half on the feeder. It still closes and they can only "sniff" the birdseed.

The squirrels definitely cannot get into the feeder.  The larger birds also are shut out.  The smaller birds are loving life.  You do not have to refill as often as smaller feeders.  Very attractive too.  Great buy.

Victory for small birds

Had to add a hook to it to be able to hang it.   Hoop at the end of the hanger is a little small and not adjustable.   The container is easy to fill.   It took a couple of weeks but 
the smaller birds  are eating out of it 3 at a time.

Good feeder so far

All in all I think that this is a great squirrel proof feeder,I have not seen my squirrel any where around it.i like the feeder's design,but my bird did not want anything to do with it.think they were afraid of the small perches and did not feel safe on them,they refused to use it ,landing on the ground instead.Ileft it up several weeks,but they boycotted it.They were use to a hopper feeder,and this one is a little more harder to use ,they have to land on the perches and pull the seeds from the plastic opening,too much work for them I think.I was forced to get another squirrel proof hopper feeder for them. But I would still say it is  a good squirrel proof feeder,and I would still recommend it

Not for my birds

This is my 2nd one, it's kinda squirrel proof,but not 🐻 proof,,the squirrel's would jump on the limb to make the seeds fall out ,but not as bad as others , like the red one

Well originally I thought I would love this bird feeder as it's nice and big. However bird feed just pours out of it anytime the birds peck at it. I have to refill it every few days.  There is a ton of bird seed under it where the squirrels and chipmunks come to feed.

More seed on the ground than in the feeder

I LIKE THE BIRDFEEDER HOWEVER THE PERCHES ARE NOT THE STRONG.  I AM NOT SURE HOW SQUIRREL PROOF IT WILL BE, HOWEVER IT APPEARS IT WILL WORK UNLESS THE CHEW THE OPENING APART.  BIGGEST PROBLEM IS I HAVE HAD IT HANGING FOR A FEW DAYS AND THE BIRDS ARE ALL AROUND IT (IN THE TREES) BUT WILL NOT LAND ON IT.

KEEPS BIRDS AWAY AS WELL AS SQUIRRELS

The lid comes up easily so the squirrel just push the lid open and eat all the birdseed. The side pieces are a good idea but useless if the squirrels can access it from the top

Not impressed

This did not perform as promised. I bought it specifically to keep squirrels away and they were able to open the top and get feeder completely down.
