I love this and so the squirrels.  I have been trying to get a photo of the squirrel hanging upside down eating from it. Great entertainment and quite frankly I am not bothered by the squirrel.

Squirrels pay no attention to a Squirrel Stumper.

Pretty and well made bird feeder. The one this replaces has been in the yard for years and the squirrels have eaten holes in the plastic tube. Little jerks. This is squirrel aggravating but not squirrel proof. The squirrels hang upside down on it and their weight tips seeds out the holes. But it's hot out right now and the squirrels don't seem to be into that much exercise ;) My favorite thing about this feeder is the top has a sort of latch that keeps the lid tightly attached

Makes the squirrels work for it

It looks well built. But we have 5 bird feeders in our back yard. All of them are empty but this bird feeder is 3/4 full . Birds don't seem to eat from it

Quite happy with the purchase of 2, wild bird feeders!  If any complaint would be, the quality of the lid which needs a little adjustment to open or close due to the close location of the hanger hardware.  Looking forward to the birds finding their feeders come this fall/winter!

Where's the Birds?

My previous feeder that I bought from another store was quite similar in design with the outer wire cage and the inner plastic tube with multiple feed holes to reduce squirrel access to the food.  When I compare this to the old one, the biggest thing I don't like is the way the cap is designed with notches that slip around the handle when you twist the cap.  This is very cumbersome to take the cap off and on.  The one I had previously the cap just untwisted off and on with no notches, very easy.  The only other thing is the capacity is smaller than the old one, requiring more frequent filling.

I dislike the small size of the metal squares...definitely need to be a bit larger to allow birds to stick their heads in and comfortably pull the head out because pulling the head out is opposite to the way their feathers are attached to their heads and necks and they could potentially get hung up on the smaller size openings and suffer injuries.

The squirrels quickly figured out how to remove the top. The side tabs were easily bent and useless to hold the top on. I just had to forcefully remove a squirrel who climbed in face down

Squirrel stuck inside!

feeder waswhat i was looking for, however the first one I received was not in original box and the inside was broken.       
I returned it and reordered and the next one I received was in original  box but it was was mashed and was also broken.  I will not reorder.  It would seem they were just sening out damaged product.

purchased to replace another different squirrel resistant feeder that birds used for years.  Old feeder needed refill or top off daily.
This feeder was filled 2 weeks ago and is still full.  

It appears to provide birds inadequate access.  Some small birds have explored then quickly left.

As best I can tell access to food is the problem.
