Patented Top-Fill technology allows you to easily fill this feeder by simply removing the cap and pouring in 24 oz of nectar. In addition, the spacious wide-mouth opening helps to prevent unwanted messes and spills as you pour. This feeder comes complete with four red flower-shaped feeding ports to attract hummingbirds as they pass nearby. The ports are soft and flexible, giving them a more realistic feel that your hummers are sure to love. To protect your nectar from ants, the built-in ant guard can be filled with water to prevent ants from gaining access. Unlike the narrow opening available in bottom fill feeders, the wide mouth of the Top-Fill makes the feeder much easier to clean. In addition, the feeder can be taken completely apart so you can clean all the hard to reach places. I ordered 2 of these feeders on line and they both arrive.d damaged and the clear plastic food holders were cracked.  There was no damage to the box therefore I believe they were shipped damaged from the source.  I was very disappointed and returned them for a refund.

The base leaks. I have owned numerous Perky-Pet hummingbird feeders and always been satisfied until this one. Not at all happy with this feeder which was a higher price than others.
