The cooler itself is not waterproof meaning if it rains, water gets in. I also have my cooler adorned with stickers, so this cover is important to maintaining the look and performance of my cooler.

Ordered a cover for a Permasteel 80 qt. cooler. Order process was simple and delivery was actually ahead of expected date. And I received regular updates. Only downside for me was that the cover was not quite the weight and quality expected but it's good enough. Walmart's price was about a third less than Amazon's. I assumed it was exact same product. Overall happy with the purchase.

Universal cooler cover

For the price, this should be better quality. The material is thin and not reinforced in high wear areas. It will probably last no more than one season. Disappointed.
