I was very surprised at how easy it was to install!   Saved me a lot of stress!  It was all put together for me….just put in place then attach the screws!  Thank you!  Great product.

Easy to install

PetSafe

Had the very first PetSafe door and loved it.  Upgraded to the weather extreme due to the storms we get here in Owens Cross roads Al.  So far all good.  Don't be alarmed though if the hard winds still blow the flaps open. Just means it's time to close the door....  Maybe stronger magnets?

I would buy again!

Great pet door! Has the extra insulated flap to keep climate control measures in place and drafts at a minimum.  Was not super hard to put in. Cutting the hole hardest part. Big tip. Make sure the opening you cut is Square so door goes in without going in at angles. Make sure you have caulking for additional draft control if you cut too large an opening. Goes in well and just pay exact attention to which side the sliding cover is, (should be on the inside!). Otherwise it went in pretty well. My older, fat lab uses it with ease(XL size).

Excellent Dog door for best climate control

Great product. Tight fit. Perfect fit. Strong construction made. Price is reasonable for the great construction put into it.

Great Product

I have three large dogs that broke the one we had previously. we just unstalled the extreme weather model in a large. we've had subzero temps here in Kansas, and it's been working like a dream.

Extreme weather model is great for large dogs

So far Im impressed with this doggie door.  Not only does it have a durable frame but the magnet sweep and flaps are well made.  Took a few days for my dogs to get used to it but now it's a revolving door.

Quality construction

The weather has started to get colder and it is working well. I am hopeful that it will hold up to our -30 or worse winter weather....

So far so good. We had an XL single flap dog door for almost a year. It was very warped and let in cold air making our living space unbearable. We upgraded to this 3 flap door and so far it lets barely any cold air in. Our dog had to get used to it again but so far this door is great.

sturdy door. Seems durable and well made.  Make sure you know it fits in a regular exterior door not a storm or screen door without the adapter kit or having to trim it out.

Petsafe dog door large

Good door, sturdy, and decent insulation. My chief complaint is that this XL door is smaller than my original Pet Safe XL dog door. I had to fill almost an inch gap going from the single flap XL plastic door to the extreme weather XL aluminum door.

Good, but smaller than my old door

Very fragile material. Did not last 4 months before the inner flap/insulated flap bracket has cracked around every screw hole and will not tighten. PetSafe dog doors are absolute garbage.

Terrible quality for active dogs
