[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to put into my large old guinea pig cage because my cat with a broken leg needs to have restricted movement for a bit.  I wanted something that would be easy for him to get in and out of and this box fits the bill perfectly.  The higher sides also help to keep most of the litter contained too and not scattered all over the inside of the cage.  I love this box!

We have two months old chiweenie mix from a rescue.  We had trained two previous pupps to use a litter box.  I got small one first, but she was used to using pad that are large, so I got large one and she kind of liked it.  I got two more to be consistent for the training.  Working for us.  Thanks!

Nice dog litter box

Perfect for my tri-pod cat.  I was looking for a low box entrance for her.  She had another brand prior which was a slanted low-rise.  As she aged she was unable to get into that box anymore.  Luckily I saw this one and she is "back-in-the-habit" of using a box.  Only downside is another cat of mine pees to high and it goes onto the floor.  Yet, I now place a large pee-pad under it for this reason.  Even though there are other litter boxes, at times he uses it too.  This litter box is a gamer saver for my tri-pod, only difference is I would make the sides higher and keep the same height to get in and out.

Perfection for a tri-pod

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a low entry litter box for my cat who recently became a tripod. This litter box has worked so well for him. Plenty of room to turn around and the sides are high enough he doesn't make a mess. This is a very handicap accessible litter box.

Handicap accessible litter box

I use this dog litter box for my ageing cat. A thyroid condition causes her to pee a lot and at her age  of 15, she has trouble getting into a regular litter box. Now she just needs to walk over a 3" lip to get into the box (for the past few months, her solution was to pee on piddle pads on the carpet). Actually, I have bought 2, because my other much younger cat prefers it, also.

No more peeing on carpets

We bought 3 for our elderly cat to replace a suoer large single litter box (metal clothes washer tray). Seems to work well enough and easier on cat joints. Before we set them up, our cats took to sleeping in the litter boxes so we bought 3 more and added blankets for cats to use on couch. They love it! Plus easy to move them if needed than on a flimsy cat bed.

I needed a low entry litter box for my senior cat. He was having trouble getting in and out of his regular litter box which has higher sides, so he just started going on the carpet :(. When I realized the issue I looked for low entry cat litter boxes but the ones marketed to cats were actually more expensive than these low entry puppy training boxes! It worked a treat because he uses this box consistently now and no more accidents! Win-win!

Bought this for my senior cat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my cats has several orthopedic issues, so this litter box, with its low side, makes it much easier for him to climb in and out, helping with compliance. Would have given five stars if the other three sides were higher, to help keep litter in.

Good for older or physically challenged cats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the large older version bought in 2017 and the bottom was a matte finish. This new version however is smaller and has a glossy finish which makes the newspapers I used slippery for the dogs to use. I preferred the older version not only is it larger but it's sturdier. The new version feels thinner. I put these upstairs for middle of the night potty er so it's alright just preferred the older matte version.

I didn't feel like trying to retrain my dog to go in the container when he's used to going outside.  I know it's perfect for inclement weather but he wouldn't even look at it - ended up returning it to the store.  Good in theory, but not for my needs in practice.
