This pet water fountain provides fresh water for your pet. It is astheticly pleasing, quiet, easy to use and enticing for your pet. This is the 2nd one we've owned. The first lasted nearly nine years! The price is reasonable. If you clean it out once a month you won't be disappointed.

Great pet water dish at a great price.

I love this water fountain. It may be discontinued though. I love that it fits in my dishwasher to clean and my cats like drinking from it and playing in the water.

Easy and Cats Use it

If you want a fountain for your cats, it's great. I wouldn't recommend it for large dogs. It's sort of small for a big dog. I have 8 cats and I have to fill it up once a day, plus they have their regular water dish in case they want to drink from that, instead. I had trouble with it when I put it right by the cat food, because they dropped it in and it got all yucky and stunk. So, now I moved it away about half a foot and they don't drop food in it anymore. It's great. It's made of plastic. I saw one person had asked that. It came in black, though it said white. I think they might have had more trouble seeing the fountain because of the dark color, but they got used to it. I had to show them the flow. It helps so I don't have to keep turning the sink on for them, every time I'm near it. I did see other fountains that had a better flow of water, but they cost more, or were smaller. I'm over all happy with it.

The fountain is nice, glad there was a black option to choose from. Water stream is good.  As others have said it is a bit noisy. The pump vibrates against the inside, but it seems to bother me more than my cats. Might try something else if it breaks because of the sound though.

I would buy this

This is ideal as it does keep the water clean. But my poor cat is nervous of the flowing water and won't go near it.  : (

Water Pet Fountain

When it was first plugged in it worked great but days later the pump became very loud, louder than my refrigerator running. 
My 1st generation petmate fountain still works and makes very little noise.
Everything else was as good or better than gen 1. I liked the high water capacity.
If you have an 'out of the way' room  where the noise could be tolerated I would recommend buying it. The kitchen is not that.
I tried 2 of these, returned them both for this problem.

Too noisy

Little hard workdirections for 58 year old female. Hope it workslike I need it to for my dog. 35 lbs. I'm Gone almost 8 hours a day.

Nice appearance.
