Bought it because sometimes I'm not home to give quality care like when I am home and cats prefer good fresh water ( proven). This thing is next best to daily fresh. I like it because it's less than a gallon and more than a week's worth of which I would never do. Thanks Walmart. Another great thing to make life better

i love this it's big and I have 3 cats so when I fill this up in the morning it's enough for them all day, it has a filter which is nice and it doesn't leak because it has a cap before the bowl my last one didn't

I think we finally found a way to stop the cat from dumping and spilling his water! This is the perfect size for one cat and small spaces. It's also easy to clean and fill.

That darn cat!

My cat has a overactive thyroid and is on medication.  This results in her drinking alot of water and this serves her needs.

Helps my cat hydration

Great size for small spaces.  Bought for my cats who enjoy drinking from it.  have same product but in a lager size for my dogs.  Great product.

holds between a quart n 1/2 gallon of water. even when 'tipped over' ccan retain about a cup of water in the base.
filters (sold separately) can catch Much green algae sludge even when liquid in the bottle appears Clear.  can be tricky to release bottle from base or to reinsert after refilling/topping off.

my dogs like it but it is bulky difficult to handle because of my arthritis.  It would be better if the water jug had a handle on it to increase ease when handling it

it wasn't a horrible value and works just wish it was a little more heavy duty as my puppy loves to knock it over and we had to take it away from her because of it🤦🏼‍♀️
perhaps better for cats or non puppies🤷🏼‍♀️

one of the filter straps was missing (of the three water containers I bought).
also: 
The licking area for the available water is too small - my kitties are just normal size and it''s awquard for them to drink .  Even a very small dog is too big for this. I's o.k. for my one kitten, but very small for a normal size cat.

disappointed

i was happy with my purchase when i first got it. assembled great. took my dog a little bit to get used to it. wouldn't touch it at first but we eventually got there. everything was great until it came time to refill it. 

i cannot get the bottle off no matter how i try. I'm like ok maybe i just have issues. i had 3 other people try to get the bottle off. nope. it won't come off. 

super unhappy as it was basically a one time use item. returning it to the store.
