Perfect for keeping a young enthusiastic boxer safe and out of trouble when we have to leave for a short time. He's not in the crate more than a couple of hours at any given time. He outgrew the petmate crates I had and I was satisfied with the brand and it's made in the U. S. A.

Permate ultra vari kennel

petmate.com

Perfect for my cat and met all airline requirements. My cat quickly acclimated and liked the cage. The only thing that bothered my OCD is that the PetMate brand name is slapped on very crooked on the front of the cage. Other than that works perfect and easy to assemble.

Perfect for air travel

This lightweight sturdy plastic is light enough to carry around in the vehicle or for other travel needs. These are rated to go onto airlines which makes it convenient for the travelers. Easy to put together and take apart. Stack if you have more than one but not too small that your pet feels confined.

Great for traveling with your pet!

influenster.com

Love the large size and it is super durable. I have a Belgian Malinois that is a magician when it comes to escaping crates. But this one has held him in! The metal gate/door is much sturdier than other crates I've tried. I love that it latches in 4 places rather than just two, like most crates.

Love it

So easy to take anywhere and my dog can stand comfortably. It is not the type of crate where a dog has trouble getting air. The openings allow air to flow easily.

Great crate!!

i have this exact kennel my pups love to sleep in it,it doesnt smell, its easy to build. The dogs are super secure and cabt get out! its honestly a nice kennel.

how nice the kennel is

Best price I found on the internet. Very easy to install, super sturdy, large inside. I have a small dog but he has very long legs, he is able to stand & sit comfortably. It was recommended to me by dog trainers, currently I am using it as an indoor dog house so no door is attached, he loves it! I put his bed inside and he chooses to sleep in there & rest willingly. My dog will be ready to travel stress free when the door is on because he has made it his hangout in the house.

Recommended to me by 2 dog trainers

walmart.com

Great kennel to use for shipping pets. It meets all the requirements for pets traveling in cargo. The medium size was the best fit for my 11 lb puppy. It exceeded the requirements for the airline that I used. It was also delivered in a very timely manner, in other words, ahead of time. I'm pleased.

Meets airline requirements

This is a great product recommended by AKC show pros and purchased for our future dog. Note to packers: Please check product before shipping, because this brand new kennel arrived with spider webs covering the inside bottom.

Great Product!

I myself didnt like it. If your pet has an accident its hard to get the smell out. It is portable. And its not very comfortable for your pet when carrying them because its not sturdy. My cat hated it.

Not sturdy at all

My GSD pup is crate trained. I purchased my first PetMate plastic crate in 2004 and never had an issue. When my GSD got too big for his wire kennel, I upgraded the size and got a PetMate Ultra (for its airline approved status). For three solid nights and any day time crate use highly distressed my dog. No one in the house slept. He was quite agitated (barking, clawing at the crate bottom, etc). He could not sleep or lay down in the crate. On the fourth night, I put him in the crate with the same result. Ten minutes later, I took out the old 2004 crate (flat bottom, no injection mold markers) and popped him in it. He sat down and gave the biggest sigh. I finally understood he had been in distress because of the new crate. On inspection, I discovered these round things under the bottom, pressed into them with my forearms and immediately felt the pressure points/pain.
Who thought this design was a good idea? Did PetMate even try it? I beg designers to sit in it, lie down in it, press their forearms on to these circle things. Question your motives.
As far as I'm concerned, it's a cheap excuse and terrible quality.

I'll be cross-posting this comment on multiple pet store sites. I'm so unimpressed with this design. The incredible distress my dog endured because of shoddy design is unacceptable.

Do better for the pets you aim to help.
