Ordered online for in-store pickup. The price was great at just under 5 dollars. I had price shopped similar items and Walmart beat everyone.

My 10 year old's Hamster loves his new running ball! She opens up the cage and he jumps right in. He runs around the house for hours. The clear plastic allows him to see where's he's going and it's larger than his old running ball so he's got plenty of room in this one. It's a lot of fun for everyone too as you can see him inside the ball.

Highly recommended and it cleans up easily with hot water and some soap. The lid is large enough to get your hand inside for scrubbing too.

Any Hamster Owner Should Have one of These!

Great exercise for pets and it can be used to to temporarily separate pets. It's a good tool to develop a close relationship with your pets because they can ( and do ), safely follow along with you. Keep a watchful eye on the door as it can and does open while in motion. Easily remedied with a small piece of duct tape or the like

The price is great.
Got it for the family hamster. He is very happy strolling around the house.
He escaped from the ball once because the lid did not secure properly.

Good exercise for your hamster

This was a great deal. Great quality and an awesome low price. My hamsters love to get in them and run around the house. My kids let them do races in the hallway. They are clear but my daughters decorated the balls with stickers. If your looking for hamster stuff Walmart is the place to shop. You cannot go wrong and hamsters will love you!! :)

It came with free food and was half the price of petco. Hamster loves it but I only let him use it on hard floor because he pees and poos in it at times and it will leak on carpet. He also runs so fast that he cracked it by running in a wall. It still works well and is easy to clean.

At this time this Super Pet Run-About Ball is the best hamster ball I have found. All are priced high for what you get but this was the best buy I found and just what I wanted -- a clear ball. This brand does come in several colors also if you perfer. Clear is the best to see the critter running or spot it start chewing off the tabs that keep the ball closed. This ball has only the door tabs to chew. This door chew problem is the main weak point of this ball and shared by others too. The ball's plastic is of average strength may crack if dropped on a hard surface. The Hartz brand is heavier duty but the opening door is too small for reaching in to get your animal out. Don't know if those balls are still on the market. Those too were one piece which is an advantage in this ball and others over the two piece balls such as the Van Ness Hamster 3 Way Exercise Ball. The Van Ness is similar in strength and comes with stand and extra door with three openings so it can be used as a wheel exerciser. This is one is enjoyed by the hamster and you as it runs quiet until the hamster chews the stand or that extra door. I have found if using it in cage as a wheel mounting it from the cage top tends to slow the hamster's destruction by chewing The ball itself is two piece and many hamsters seem to figure the tabs holding it together are good to chew off especially when in use as a roll about ball. So having experienced several brands and colors, Super Pet in clear is my favored ball for the single purpose of running about out of the cage. The race Car model and the fancy Carriage vehicles are fun and can be adjusted to run also as a exercise wheel. I have each and the Carriage is hard to adjust. The wheel in those is a good thick plastic but the opening is small for getting the animal in and out. When using Car or Carriage someone must be monitoring the pet as these items often get stuck and the hamster cannot steer its way out of the situation as in a ball. I put my multiple hamsters out each in a ball or vehicle and they bump and run and socialize a bit and seem to have a great time. My hamsters will hurry out of their cages and into their balls having tried it out the first time and are often reluctant to get out when given a short running time.

Fun item apparently for both you & the hamster

We bought a couple of gerbils, we've got hardwood floors, so a couple of these exercise balls seemed like a great idea. Sure they come in different colors, but if I was running around inside a plastic ball, I'd like to see where I'm going without everything looking purple. Buying them online was the best deal - I was able to get two for the price I expected to pay for just one at the store. The gerbils seem to enjoy them, the kids definitely enjoy watching them. They can move on our carpet too, just not as well. Enjoy!

My mouse loves his ball and get the excersise he needs. Lets him feel like hes out in the world!
