Volume levels may not be loud enough for some users.

The only thing that I dislike about the sound bar is is when you turn off the sound bar and tv is that when you turn it back on you have to turn the sound bar and tv up just to hear it I just wish the volume just stays on but they don't but other than that I love my sound bar it clear great sound

arrived on time and working condition. definitely suggest using an hdmi cable for sound.  tried aux cable and it wasn't very good. volume stays at the volume you left it, i don't know what others are saying about that. also run sound test from remote as well as the device it will be running on for extra security. clear treble and bass for the price. and it can get pretty loud. have trusted philips products for years. not an Ad

pretty good with the right connections

Arrived on time and in good order.  Download the user manual for the best instructions.  After that it's plug and play with optical coupling from an entry level cast-capable TV having dreadful built in speakers.  For bread and butter listening, the results are decidedly an improvement.  It ain't prissy, pricey, surround sound quality, nor should that be expected.  Shopping caution:  Price point at WM for the 5105 model has been seen to decline since this order was placed.

Meets requirements.

The speaker sounds good   It only comes with the outlet plug in.  The tv we had wasn't a smart tv.  We tried different cables but wouldn't work.  Ended up getting a smart tv too.

The sound bar is easy to fix, it gives good sound output for movies and tv shows, sound is better than the TV output. The bass is less, There can be little improvement in the surround bass. This sound bar does not come with aux cable or optical cable for connecting to TV, so you must buy one. Overall I am satisfied with this sound bar, purpose is achieved.

Good sound bar for budget price

Would not work after trips to get 2 cables. Two calls to tech support and the second said they have had a lot of troubles with this product and advised to return the product.  I returned for a credit that I will get in 10 days. It is not even a 1 star rating.

Easy to setup, hard to make it work correctly.
Used HMDI ARC connection, now TV audio setting are locked.
30 minutes later finally got audio.
Got TV remote to work, before the volume would go from 1 to 100, but now it counts by 5's.
Original TV speakers were set about 30-40, now with this sound bar, it is at 75 to 90. Sometimes sound bar will not power up with the TV.
Will be returning, and purchasing something different.
Like they say, you get what you paid for...

NOT Having A Good Time With Phillips Sound Bar

I never did get this soundbar to operate correctly with my Amazon FireTV and Cox DVR. After 732 iterations, it became apparent I needed 3 separate remotes and 17 steps to make acceptable sound come from this soundbar. Cox DVR, Amazon  FireTV, and Phillips soundbar trying HDMI-eARC, Optical, and Bluetooth could not power on with a single remote and make an acceptable sound. It doesn't work. Returned. Very pleasant return experience.

I bought this in March 2022. Just tried to set it up and it was broken. It didn't turn on at all.  I am returning it and going with a different brand.

Broken, damaged

Power clearly not strong enough for you to notice a change with your TV. I turned the device over. Invest in a better soundbar! - Oh, my God.

It is not really worth the purchase.
