We have had the 3300 for about a month now, and this is easily the best coffee/cappuccino machine we have ever owned. Yes, it is not cheap, however, for the one-touch capability, it is a game changer. Some things that we have noticed: 1. We normally use almond milk in our everyday life. While you will get a “foamy” type experience using the frother, for the best results you will need to use either dairy milk or a barista type oat milk for the real cappuccino experience. 2. All of the drinks are very good; cappuccino, the latte, and regular coffee. While we are still experimenting with different beans, we have not made a drink that we have not enjoyed. 3. When starting the machine up, we do notice that it does expel a bit of water before it is ready to brew. I am sure that the unit stores this water to make the steam for the frother, but be away that you be dumping the overflow tray often.

I had 2 coffee makers before this one, and I didn't like either. So I was very skeptical when I received the Philips 3300. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried my first coffee from the 3300. It was smooth and tasted like what I expected what a coffee should be. The latte maker was a great device. I am so happy to be able to make my own macchiato with a push of a button. Now I don't have to drive every morning down the road to get my fresh coffee!

No more early morning coffee run

We've had this automatic in our house for close to 3 months. Previously we had nearly the exact same unit for almost 4 years. No issues very reliable. Great coffee maker. I do wish it was a bit more quiet. Over time the grinder will wear down and when it does typically what we saw is all the seals also go it means replacing quite a few things for about half the price of a new one or just buying a new one. Even so I consider this one excellent.

Great automatic coffee

In the morning, I like to have a regular coffee. When choosing a double coffee 3(coffee)+3(water) it is not strong enough so I take a single (3 coffee)+3(water) to fill a little more my cup and a single (3coffee)+2(water) to settle on the taste a little stronger. Plus, it would be nice if I could have the opportunity to add hot milk foam to it.

Overall we am enjoying our new automatic espresso machine. It's a treat to have a cappuccino every morning. 
It also has all the features we were looking for. We've tried all the different types of coffee except for the iced coffee feature. 
If I had to complain about anything it would be that sometimes the coffee is super hot and other times it's not. I wish it could be more consistent. However my husband heats his cup in the microwave first so that helps.

Automatic Espresso machine

Makes a good coffee but find the latte milk frother over froths. It is hard to judge the size cup to use and would be useful if the 3 degrees of water and milk had notations of volume?  100ml, 200ml etc.  That aside for a fully automated system it is excellent and cleaning process is very straightforward. The additional manual lid is great as my wife has decaf.  Purchased a separate milk frother so that I can have easy swap between dairy and alternative milks without having to clean one only.

Great auto coffee machine and does what it says.

So far it's okay. I have only had it approximately 6 weeks and am still in the learning stage. Overall I like the machine and kick myself for not spending the extra money for the newest model.
My only complaint is I find the coffee and espresso temperature is not hot enough. Wish there was a way to adjust the temperature hotter.  
The automatic lattego milk system is really nice having. It makes it so quick and easy to make a cappuccino and a latte macchiato with no fuss and mess. I have found that it works the best with really cold milk or really cold whipping cream but not so good with oat milk. Also be very careful when putting the lattego together. Make sure you hear or feel it snapped together. I have had a few mishaps with milk pouring out the pin hole in the frother due to not putting it together properly.
Sure it is a tad noisy when it grinds and use the frother, but it is quieter than the previous models. My family has complained that it wakes them up in the mornings. But it is safer for them to listen to machine briefly and go back to sleep instead dealing with a cranky uncaffeinated mother. 😆
I am still trying to find a bean that I really enjoy. I have tried 3 different Kicking Horse brands, 6 different Lavazza brands and 1 McCafe brand. The coffee beans all have their good points but nothing that makes me rave about them.
Cleaning the brewing system every couple days is super easy. I rinse it completely and fully just before bed and let it air dry overnight. I suggest dumping the tray and grounds every few uses. If you wait for the machine to tell you, you take a chance of spilling the excess water when you pull the tray out.

Bean hopper needs work.  Beans bridge and can't always make it to grinder.  User interface is not well thought out.  Control panel is not easy to see except in bright light.  Coffee is not strong enough.  It's okay, not robust.

Could be great with some work

The construction and design appealed to me as I own a much earlier model. The display and variety of settings is great, except it has limitations. The ability to use the ground coffee option is a complete bust. It just spills the grounds into the hopper and provides hot water, very disappointing. You can't steam milk without making a coffee, what my wife was hoping for. The hopper for the beans needs constant adjustment to bring the beans to the grinder, you can't load the beans and forget a few coffees later. The coffee is great, thanks to the options of grind and water amounts.

Not what I hoped for

There is flow in the water recovery tank. Huge amount. I recommend emptying the bin after 4 coffees otherwise it overflows. I always put a cup when rinsing when turning the machine on and off. It must be a recurring problem because my daughter bought her machine a month before me and she complains about the same problem.

Abnormal discharge

Not very good at all. It was first time purchasing bean to cup coffee machine and I was disappointed. The coffee was watery, the latte function did not produce coffee and wasted allot of product. The instructions are not very clear. I returned it in the end.
