Wow, Totally impressed so far!
Here is my story...I needed an emergency replacement for my old set that failed suddenly.
I didn't have the budget for anything too large or fancy. Walmart has been my favorite choice because of price and the quick and FREE delivery. 
I was lucky my old set failed during pre-boxing day sales.
I took a chance with this Philips and was VERY impressed. It arrived 26 hours after ordering!
My first impression was a great start - arrived quickly and the box looked pristine - very gently handled by all the various hands that got it from the warehouse thru to the delivery driver - good job.
Very easy to unpack and setup - good instructions and unit was really light and easy for one person to handle (I even used a separate VESA mounted swivel stand).
The ROKU engine is the best SMART TV format I have seen. The setup takes just a few moments, especially if you already have and existing account. After you enter your Email, it is a simple confirmation from your smartphone and the Philips TV downloads any updates and your existing profile. (If you are new to ROKU, the process is still quick and you are guided thru the easy process)
Done, ALL of your add on channels are installed - with your separate accounts and login information already entered and ready to use. You now have a literal clone of your old TV - right where you left off.
The ROKU remote is both simple to use and intuitive - some people complain because the remote is basic and lacks a traditional numeric keypad - now you only need the directional arrows and 'OK' button for most common navigation.
The picture is bright and crisp using the default setting - does not need much fine tuning - I like the 'Bright' and 'Dark' all in one setting.
The sound in quite respectable considering the small size of the built in speakers.
Considering the price was $297 and arrived the next day, this is an amazing deal.
Hopefully this TV lasts - I generally put way more daily usage hours than most people.  
In conclusion - Very impressed and I would highly recommend.

Great value - Highly recommended

Nice TV for under $300 with a lot of features. Videos and Movies look great. My only annoyance is that there is no color settings for every individual installed app. Some apps have it, some don't. For example, I use Media player to display photos from a USB stick, but I am not able to adjust colour in the photo slideshow. I hope they fix this in next firmware or app release. Other than that i am happy with my purchase.

Nice TV

I am very happy with this purchase. Price was incredible so i could not pass it up as indoor season is upon us. I do not waych a lot of tv but i have so many programs and free channels to watch movies and doc. Down loaded yoytube and easily installed my account. Picture quality is great for what i need.

Roku philips 55" tv

I'm enjoying my TV. The quality is great. All those asking for warranty / return policy i really don't understand if you planned to use the TV then hide behind return policy/warranty when there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Lol

Bought this 4k Smart TV during Walmart.ca cyber Monday sale for $297.00.  Excellent value and features...  only thing I would improve would be the remote control.

Good TV for the Price, very Basic Remote Control

I love the colour richness I find it doesn't come with much instructions for attaching your sound bar.  My daughter set it up and the converter wasn't a problem for her however it's a bit small and cheesy looking for the size of the tv.  The picture fitting the screen changes with each channel haven't figured out where in the settings that can be fixed yet.  Also the screws for the mount should come with the unit so it can go on the wall if someone has a compatible mount.

Decent tv l, great price!

Tv works great, easy to set up, as well as mount on the wall.  I have an Apple TV and cannot seem pair the Apple Remote to turn on and off the Apple TV and tv at the same time. So I turn off the Apple TV and then ask Siri to turn off the tv as this is in my bedroom and when trying to fall asleep, I don't want to try to find another remote.  Have noticed that late at night, when all the lights are off and dark in the room, the tv does still look slightly on even though it is turned off. It emits a minuscule amount of light

Great tv with amazing price.

Good tv. I got it on sale. It's amazing for the price point. Only downside for me is the tv itself doesn't have Bluetooth to connect to a non Roku sound bar. You have to use the app and your mobile device to connect to your sound bar wirelessly. If you're okay with hard wired your good shouldn't be an issue. Overall great tv.

Coming from using a Hisense, this was kind of a let down. 
It works well, I just got used to having a google platform. I needed to get a separate attachment for Chromecast.

for the TV I buy it is perfect I love it but the problem was for me to create an account and it was impossible to do if I did not avais cell phone with sms or ont me sent a validation code... impossible to create an account with the code send by email then its summer a ordeal for me n ayant no sms.....you should change this for at least the confirmation code can and send
