I wanted an air fryer to have that fried outcome but very little actual oil. I would especially recommend kale chips - just chop medium sized, add a bit of olive oil and maybe balsamic - come out melt-in-the-mouth crunchy; slices of polenta - just spray with olive oil; brussels sprouts - cut in half, toss in a bit of olive oil and either lemon juice or balsamic. It is easy to overcook cauliflower and broccoli, so soak in water first (as with french fries) and check sooner than the directions suggest. Home made potato wedges were also easy -soak first. As I have only owned this since Christmas, I have more to learn - but it has already earned counter space (and it is big!).

So far it's great! Clean up is breeze...the basket slides in and out and dissembles for easy hand-washing or so you can throw it in the dishwasher. It's very simple to use...a push-button dial and the on/off button will have you cooking in minutes. Veggies, tofu, frozen snacks...so far so good. I also like the small foot print...not much bigger than our rice cooker...so we can keep it out on the counter without sacrificing much space. In reality, this is just a small convection oven...not a fryer, so keep that in mind when purchasing. I wish they had these when I lived in Japan in the late 80's.  I had a small convection oven purchased from JC Penney that got so hot the paint discolored on the outside surface!

It woks good and delivers faster than regular cooking. It takes a while to get the best cooking times . The foods made in it are as good as using the stove or frying. Cleanup is easy.

Easy to use

This product is amazing. I have had it for about a month and have used it at least once a day since then. There are tons of recipes you can find online for air fryers. Philips gives you over 200 in their App to start you off. If you are going to adjust some of your own recipes by yourself, it may take a couple tries to get them the way you like them. The ease of use and speed of this machine are great! The clean up is next to zero. The most clean up was with coated chicken but it was well worth it. My wife and I both agreed that it was the best chicken we have ever had. I have done both store bought fries and fresh cut potatoes, steak, hash browns, cookies, fish (both coated and none), sweet potato fries, wings, individual pizzas, bologna, hamburgers, corn on the cob, breaded pickles, sausages and scalloped potatoes. More that I can't even think of right now. This was well worth the money spent. My stomach couldn't take eating fish and chips or anything else deep fried anymore. Could not even eat hot dogs without feeling miserable. This has changed everything and I can now eat whatever I want. I can't wait to keep experimenting with it and trying different recipes. Great size for 2 people. If you cook, go buy one now. Don't wait. It is worth it!!

Like many, we were new to the world of air frying when we bought our Philips air fryer. The air fryer we purchased is a great size which comfortably services 4 people. The instructions with the product were fairly clear, so it's easy to use the air fryer right out of the box.
For the price we paid, I expected quality and we are getting it. I would have liked at least one accessory included with the purchase price, but the lack of such wasn't a deal breaker because this Philips model is the highest rated air fryer on the market.

A great product!

My father always said Philips is a great brand, and I carry this on to my life, specially when having great experiences like with this Air Fryer. It's so easy to use, no pre-heat needed, cooks the food just right and makes everything delicious. Just yesterday I made frozen vegetables in it, and then threw in some fish fillets, made some pasta and BAM! dinner is ready using the air fryer and one pot (for the pasta). It's great!

Best appliance ever

Out new Philips Airfryer was used immediately to make onion rings. Then later to make french fries. Tonight it will be used to make crispy tofu. So far everything has been successful and we like it a lot. I put an oven thermometer in the pan and it reaches the correct temperature shown on the digital display. The size is adequate for our cooking needs; we wouldn't need anything larger.

This Airfryer Worked Great!

Dear srs:

I was asking myself how to avoid dirty in the heaters, or how to clean them. Also, how to prepare more than 3 chicken fillets, without overlapping them, when I realized there are some accessories.

Really? Why accessories? And they are very expensive!
I have to confess I feel a little bit bothered about if...that was tricky.

The airfryer is a very good product, but the way you are selling it is not.
The LID, which should be part of the original pack, has to be bought separately? C'mon, guys!

why separate accessories

Does what it is ment to do. Works best with small batches and not overcrowding the tray.

Quality product

I love the concept. So far I struggle with getting the basket out. I am almost 90 and maybe don't have the strength needed. Also the recipe books I have require preheating but there are no directions in the booklet as to how to reheat. Thanks for your product.

Problem with removing th basket from the drawer

This product works as advertised - it fries food with air and minimum oil. However I found it left a 'fried chicken' smell in the house that lingered for a day. And it took french fries twice as long to do as in the oven. Easy to use and good for those that don't want to use oil to cook but it does take work having to shake contents alot and it does seem to take longer to cook items then in the oven.
