Philips Avent SCF099/00 Soothie Heart pacifier helps calm and soothe babies. Designed for babies 0-3 months, the Soothie Heart is heart-shaped with a curved shield for more comfort. It is made of hospital-grade, BPA-free and latex-free silicone for strength, comfort and durability. Its one piece construction is specially sized and shaped for baby's mouth and adheres to the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines. From the brand distributed in hospitals nationwide, this pacifier is uniquely shaped to comfortably fit little mouths to calm and soothe without inhibiting normal oral development. Transparent, tasteless and odorless, the nipple is strong and smooth and resists becoming sticky. Even after extended use, it won't become discolored or misshapen. The Soothie Heart pacifier is also compatible with most pacifier clips. It can be sterilized using a Philips Avent sterilizer and is dishwasher safe.

The product itself is wonderful these r my sons preferred soother, however the fact that I never received them kinda sours my review. I had to request a refund due to it never shipping. Great sooth though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this paci 4 pack as part of the stellar review panel, in exchange for my honest feedback. 
The price point and packaging were attractive. It was easy to see exactly what the pacifiers looked like, in the clear package. The pacis were also super easy to boil and clean. 

I wanted to like this pacifier, but neither me nor my 8 week old liked it. The issues as far as baby goes:

The nipple is either too small or too short, he kept dropping it, and was frustrated when sucking on it. It didn't really contour to his face. It's quite bulky and heavy. He uses a pacifier regularly, but just couldn't hold on to this one. 

The issues from a mom standpoint; it has a tiny little loop to attach a paci holder. None of my paci holders fit, so when my baby dropped the pacifier, it always fell to the floor. This brings me to user issue #2; the silicone is slightly sticky, so attracts hairs, and dirt. I had to wash it under running water each time, rubbing off the hairs and random floor crumbs. 

The paci that I prefer, and my child prefers, has a larger flatter nipple, a larger loop and doesn't attract fluff like this one.
