Designed for babies from birth to 3 months old, the Soothie Pacifier is made of hospital-grade, BPA-free and latex-free silicone for strength, comfort and durability. Its one piece construction is specially sized and shaped for a newborn's mouth and adheres to the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines. Distributed in hospitals nationwide, this pacifier is uniquely shaped to comfortably fit newborn mouths to calm and soothe without inhibiting normal oral development. I received this pacifier set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Soothie pacifiers are well known by my family and I have nothing but positives to say about them. All three of my children have used these pacifiers. They are also the preferred pacifier for the NICU babies at the hospital I work at. I introduced this style to my 5 week old and he took to it right away. For me I like being able to hold the pacifier in place with my finger inside the nipple - it is a slip free method. The circular design is effective and stays away from the nose and cheeks - I do not notice indents made by the outer edge. The two small holes make any safety concerns go away. They are easy to clean - You can sterilize them, I have used the dishwasher, or rinse them. A positive feature I have noticed with our repetitive use is the material does not disintegrate or seem to wear down. They are long lasting and durable. I gift this to all my friends and will continue to use the samples I was given.

Love these pacis for my newborn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best pacifier on the market especially for breastfed babies! As a first time mom, I did a lot of researching, read a ton of reviews and consulted with 3 different lactation consultants to find the best pacifier that doesn’t create nipple confusion. My daughter was born premature so it is even more important for me to be able to breastfeed her. Philips Avent Soothie was provided by the NICU and ever since my daughter was born it’s the only pacifier she would use. So as you can imagine, I was so happy to receive more of the Philips Avent Soothie from Stellar Product Testing Panel. I love the pastel color. They match my daughter’s outfits. The finger hold makes it easy for me to secure it while I hold her. Because it’s one piece, it’s so easy to clean.  We never had problems with it! We’re over 3 months into our breastfeeding journey and our daughter never had issues with using the pacifier then going back to my breast. The pacifier’s round, cylindrical shape, long, narrow tip and flexibility promotes optimal sucking habits. This is definitely a must have for your baby!

The best pacifier on the market

I recently had the opportunity to test the Soothie green 4 pack of pacifiers courtesy of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This pacifier is the only one that I will use with my newborn, and it’s not by my choice. This is the only pacifier my little babe will take. The unique shape and simple design of the pacifier fits my new babe’s mouth where it is easy for him to latch on and stay latched on. Additionally with the design of the pacifier, it is easy to clean when needed-Just simply rinse, put in boiling water for 5 minutes, remove, and let dry upside down. No nooks and crannies for water build up, meaning no possibility for mold.  Lastly, the design of the pacifier has a “tab” at one end that allows for easy pick up to insert into his mouth- no need to actually touch the nipple part.  Furthermore, as of right now, we are exclusively breast feeding and this pacifier does not make for nipple confusion with him where he would steer away from that. 

I highly recommend these pacifiers. The design is simple yet functional and my new babe enjoys using them. Needless to say, this pacifier is always very close to my new babe at all times.

Best pacifiers!

I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and my little man absolutely loves them. The shape is more natural than other pacifiers and seems to more closely mimic a nipple. I love the simple design and how easy it is to clean. We like to put ours in the dishwasher for a more thorough clean, but can count on a simple rinse with water or pacifier wipes to ensure it is clean enough for our little guy.

The Philips Avent Soothie 0-3m in lilac and pastel pink is both aesthetically pleasing and calming. The one-piece design enhances safety for infants and simplifies cleaning and sterilization, eliminating water accumulation and the growth of mold and microorganisms. This BPA-free soothie, made in the USA, appears durable and well-made. Its holes enable the skin to breathe, reducing the occurrence of rashes or redness. What i love the most is the finger hold which promotes bonding with your baby and encourages suckling. Although my baby rarely rejects this soothie, once it's spat out, it can't be caught due to the lack of a handle or pacifier holder. As seen in the picture, the soothie covers my baby’s nose, to improve the design, a notch on the nose area would be beneficial as it prevents pressure on the baby's nose and reduces the risk of red marks.

Great pacifier

We have used these Soothie pacifiers for all of our babies.  They are the same ones that the hospitals use and for good reason.  They are very close to mimicking the size and shape of mom’s nipple.  They are comforting and quiet.  They are so easy to find in all stores which is a huge plus.  There are also not many grooves or tiny misshapen areas that need to be cleaned so cleaning them is a snap!  We use a microwave sterilizer or sometimes my wife carefully boils them.  The price is right for a product that three out of three of our babies have happily used.  My only reason for four stars over five is that they are outgrown quickly and my babies move on not the Philips Avent Freeflow.  They are a bigger nipple and easier for them to use after the two-three month mark.  I received this product for free from the Stellar Product Testing Panel but the review is my own.

Soothie Pacifiers

I received the Soothies green 4 pack of pacifiers as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I tested out the pacifier with my 3 month old daughter. A bit of background about our daughter - she had a tongue tie at birth, and refused to take a pacifier at all.  She had a frenectomy around week 5, and has slowly been accepting pacifiers ever since. She now regularly uses a pacifier on car trips and in her crib. Pacifiers definitely help her to soothe herself, so I was excited to try the Soothies and see if they lived up to their name. Unfortunately, the shape of the Soothies did not work for my daughter. She could not keep the pacifier in her mouth. She couldn't seem to latch to the pacifier, even though the clever design allows you to put your finger into the base to help with the latch. The Soothie had a soft, pliable feel, but she would still just spit them out once I took my finger out of the pacifier. After a few hit the floor, we cleaned them pretty easily by dropping them into one of my microwave sterilizer bags and tried again. But with the Soothies short, bullet-like shape, she just couldn't seem to keep them in her mouth, which frustrated her. We would likely not purchase Soothies in the future unless they changed the shape.

Some great features, but the design is a miss
