I found that this is better than my Gillette beard trimmer too. This is that good it could probably shave your head. My new trimmer is SO much better than my old one, which mysteriously stopped working.  The old one was battery powered, the new one is rechargeable.  The old one had six cutting heights, the new one so many more. Phillips have got it right.

This thing is ridiculously easy to use, with adjustable length settings that make it simple to achieve the perfect stubble or beard style. The trimmer itself is lightweight and ergonomic, fitting perfectly in my hand, and the blades are sharp and precise with no noise at all. 
I've been using it to maintain my beard, trim my neckline, and even tidy up my sideburns. The battery life is impressive, too, and the cleaning process is a breeze. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer Series 3000 , it's handy, reliable, and has become an essential part of my daily grooming routine!

Reliable

As an older guy with hair coming from my ears and nose keeping that trim and groomed is essential. Using the special attachment makes it so easy. Also I have a mustache and the trimmer for that is so easy to use and keeps it how I like it contoured with my lip. I'm considering growing more of my facial hair (Beard, Goatee) now that I have clipper attachments to help with the design and maintenance of them

The best product for what I need it for

Quite practical and easy to use.  I use it to trim my beard and eyebrow (it joins in the middle,  so singular!) The the cutting lengths are easy to set and the trim is neat and tidy. When shaving; the hair doesn't clog the reasonably wide blades, allowing a fairly quick and tidy trim.  The only reason why it's not 5 stars, is the generic Philips plug (to the USB C plug stipulated by the EU)...Why? It's fiddly and extra wiring for your travels (or home!) that you have to find where you left it... Other than that,  I have used Philips (specifically Philishave) for most of my life,  because of the build quality and durability,  so I  heartily recommend this product.

Great trimmer

There are a lot of things I like about the trimmer. I was a little concerned that I couldn't adjust trim length effectively without the comb but I have discovered the advantages to using the comb. For starters, it is more comfortable against my skin than 'raw' cutters. My only complaint about this model is that it doesn't show when it's fully charged so it's a bit of a guessing game. I would have purchased the model up had I know that but the wording in the features leads one to believe it does have an indicator but it's just a light on the power adapter itself which really just shows that it's charging.

Effective, easy to use and reasonable price

It also makes it simple to trim. So far the battery life is great. I haven't recharged it since I unboxed it. Recommend as a travel bread trimming tool.

Compact and useful trimmer

Purchased BT3234/15, after 5 months the trimmer refused to turn on.     
Troubleshooted per Phillips instructions but no success.     Unfortunately, Live chat was only form on Contact, and was completely steered away from issues to fix device.
