100% recommend this product even after just a month of us every day. So easy to use, cutting lengths easy to choose, and the performance is excellent! In no time at all, I have the stubble length which I would like, and it's very smooth and nice to my skin. Chose due to functionality, cutting length, battery life and longevity.

100% recommend for regular/daily trimming

philips.com

Very good beard trimmer. Excellent design. Only negative is that it is a little difficult to remove head and plastic beard catcher(stiff plastic). Once the head and catcher is off, it is easy to put back on.

PHILLIPS BEARD TRIMMER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This trimmer does a great job on my beard. I can get a smooth even cut and get the length perfect.

Great Trimmer!

Mahboob

This is my second experience with philips shaving machines. Both were very good
. I liked most collection system of the shaved hair. The precision were good but I had to do cut multiple times to get the desired hair length

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For years i used the vacuum 700 series , model BT7215 , loved it , now the beard trimmer it's even better!
one charge last forever , very smooth , collets all the hair , easier to clean , BRAVO!

Best beard trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s much quieter than my older unit from 15 years ago. The vacuum feature captures hair well. I kept using my old unit because of the vacuum feature so when I saw they brought that back, I knew it was time to replace my old unit whose blades kept popping off every 4 months.

Love the vacuum feature & how quiet it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a replacement for my Phillips BT 7515 vacuum beard trimmer which I really like but it has been discontinued. I tried and returned several brands of vacuum trimmers which did not shave as close. I like to trim my beard and leave short stubble so the variable settings and the vacuum functions are important to me-this shaver has a minimum setting of .4mm which most other shavers don't come close to. I purchased the top of the line BT7670/40 and have been using it for a little over a month. I like the additional wide trimmer head and the stand so I believe the additional cost is worth it. The hair collector works better than I expected and is simpler to clean than the vacuum model that I replaced. The trimmer also looks and feels good in the hand. Kudos to the product team at Phillips !

Great adjustable trimmer with hair collector

The oil free self sharpening design and easily adjustable shaving length is what attracted me to this model. I’ve previously used a Philips shaver that lasted year, only being upgraded and replaced as I’d damaged it by dropping it. So I’m certain this model will also last many years of use. The lack of USB-C charging is the only missing feature of this product, otherwise it would be perfect.

Great design, works great but wish it had USB-C

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cuts great. Excellent battery life. Adjustable guard is easy to remove and adjusts flawlessly. Only complaint is that it doesnt have the vacuum feature with removable bin like my old 7000 series did.

Cuts great. Easy to use. Battery life excellent.

I went with this one because I had an older Phillips trimmer with the collector. After about 10 years the vacuum stopped working, so it was time to replace. They are not making the collector units nearly as well as they used to. It sort of works, but not really.
Otherwise its good, but that is really the only reason I went with this one.

Good trimmer, collector doesn't work well

Dimitris Syrmopoulos

The comb guard design completely prevents this trimmer from working on softer facial hair. Because the thick guard frame creates a thick plastic barrier, the guard flattens hair against the skin before it can reach the blades. For me, at settings above 1 mm, it missed almost every hair. Unless you have stiff, coarse stubble that stands straight up, this guard will not trim effectively. Very disappointing performance. I am returning this item and hope Philips reaches out to let me test the Series 5000 BT5775 instead, as its open-prong design looks like it actually allows soft hair to hit the blades directly.

Flawed guard design fails on softer beard hair

Philips Beard Trimmer 5000 Series - Self-sharpening Metal Blades, 40 Lock-in Settings, BeardSense Technology, Hair Collector, 100% Waterproof, Soft Pouch, Model BT5775/15 centered black trimmer with visible precision dial and ergonomic 360-degree grip, four comb attachments and narrow click-on detail trimmer arranged beside a blue product box and small soft pouch; suitable for precise stubble-to-long beard styling and often used for quick neckline or chest touch-ups while travelling.
