Setup is simple and straightforward using an hdmi cable.

Great value for the money and very easy to hook up as easy as one two three. Nice clear picture Too!  Sounds great nice replacement for my old Dvd player. I have new blu-ray movies but still old excellent DVD movies I wanted to play and it makes them look and sound much better! Thanks I'm very satisfied with my purchase and I know it will last a long time .I 've had an old Philips product about 10 years  before it was good quality still good just wanted an upgrade.

I purchased this because I had a bought the first season of The Chosen and my current DVD player would not play the second disc. This player is fantastic. It was super easy to hook up. I did have to buy additional HDMI cable since it wasn't included. I think that should be included in the box. It come with a nice feeling remote. Buttons are easy to see and use. It player the disc smoothly and was super quiet. If you need a bluray player buy this one.

This was super easy to hookup and start using immediately. Disc handling and playback was without issue. The only thing that caused a bit of concern was the seemingly slow response to powering up and drawer opening. It takes a few seconds, but after going through that cycle several times I've concluded that that's exactly how it's supposed to happen with this player.  This is not an issue - it was just a bit different than what I expected

Easy hookup and use

Seems to work well and has plenty of power. Complicated menu, but once you get it set up to your liking, that's all there is. ARC and CEC very convenient to operate all linked devices. Very happy with it, compared to previous soundbar that was short on power.

Good price good receiver.

Took a while to get here, due to COVID quarantine.  Understandable.  I hooked it up right away and have watched blue ray and regular DVD's with it and the picture is clear and sharp with either one.   My older one was not used for a couple of months and was shot.  This one is doing great and the difference is making me very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's what we needed - basic blu-ray dvd player w/no fluff- PERFECT!!! Only have used it twice but so far, so good. FedEx placed package at mailbox in ditch even though we were home-weird- this may make us second guess next purchase but we heard truck so box didn't sit in ditch too long and it is the holiday season. Saying no to contact because we get enough calls as is but email is fine.

I was excited to use my blu-ray dvd player when I got it until I came across some bluray dvds that wouldnt play and needed update to play these dvds.  When I purchase something like this, I expect to be able to play all dvds not having to download on to a flashdrive and upgrading the unit to play it.  I am not that tech savy and really dont have to time to research how-to's.  I want to just enjoy my purchase with all the capabilities in place.  I still have brand new blu-ray dvds that I havent watched and bought months ago.

Good Value but Disappointed unable to play dvds

Got this home, opened it up, back of remote was missing, there were no cords to hook it up to the tv, and the door that opens to put the blu-ray in is broken. Oh, and also, not even the brand on the box. Now I can't return it. So I guess I'm just screwed. I'm a loyal Walmart  member no more.

Warning ⚠️ Don't buy this if want want to watch Blu-ray or DVDs. The first one worked about a month then it started saying disc not supported or no disc inserted. We were abke to exchange it and now less than 2 weeks later, the new one is doing the same thing. I have never been so disappointed in a purchase ever.

i have bought this same Bluray twice now and the same thing happens the bluray stops workinh about 6 months into buying it it plays dvds but not blurays amd since its a a bluray youd think it play them instead of not blurays i won't ever buy this product again i just thank God i had gotten the insurance on it if you buy anything electronic from Walmart make sure you pay that extra 8 to 10 bucks to get the insurance on it because 6 months to a year into owning the product it will go bad every electrical item I have bought from there in the last 4 years has been crap I've had insurance on everything otherwise I wouldn't have got another one but now I won't never buy electronics from Walmart anywhere anymore
