I bought this product because my Philips epilator has yet to let me down in the past two years. The only problem is my legs are too sensitive to be waxed or shaved. It causes ingrowns. So I bought this to save on cartridges.

After one use I can honestly say I wish I had more hair to shave! I tested it dry and it shaved off even tiny hairs I could barely see. I have seen some people say this doesn't get all the hair if it's really long. The key is to use it at an angle, allowing the trimming blades on either side to trim down the longer hairs so the foil can give you a close shave. This is even great around knees. I'm going to give it a shot on my bikini line next, but I highly recommend this product. It's inexpensive and it just works.

Wonderful for the Price!

I got this for my wife and she just loves it. We even got a spare just in case because she cant be without it now!!!!!! She loves the ease of using it and the comfort of the design !!!! The cleaning is a breeze.

Works well

I had used the same product but the rechargeable one from Philips for 4 years when I was living in Eindhoven, The Netherlands (hahaha Philips origin) and I was so satisfied with product. this one has the same performance but works with 2 AA batteries instead, not a big deal!

Great Shaver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been plagued with plaque psoriasis for years. Standard razors just made a bloody mess of my legs. This cordless shaver has been a huge addition to my life. I can keep smooth sexy legs without worrying about cutting my skin or irritating the rash. Thank you Philips for creating a shaver that works for folks who have skin conditions. Eczema, psoriasis even just rough skin. You guys have the answer! You ROCK!!!! Thanks for all you do.

Perfect for anyone with skin conditions

This product works OK but not as well as I expected. It shaves much better wet than dry but it takes about 10 passes on my underarms to remove the hair.

It is NOT rechargeable; one of the reasons I purchased this item was that it says it is chargeable. Boo false advertising!

I bought this less than 2 years ago and I use it almost every day and it comes with no replacement blades in the box? It has slowed down and turns off almost immediately when I turn it on. It doesn't cut and even when it was new it cut me and pulled hairs out. It didn't shave anything and it's extremely loud. Only lasted about 3 weeks.
