Always used philishave and was a little sceptical about new design. Although it looks as though the head is a bit flimsy it is well made and unexpectedly robust. Gives a far faster and closer shave than the previous conventional shaped and also has a good charge life. You have to remove the head and replace with the attachment for any trimming. I have a separate trimmer so avoid this task. All round a marked improvement and I can certainly recommend this shaver. Only downside I have found is that I sometimes switch it off whilst shaving as the switch is where you grasp the shaver.

Good shaver

Gives a nice close shave and yet is very gentle. Easy to use and with a good battery life. The only thing I found a little fiddly was getting the blue plastic retaining discs to go back in after cleaning the heads. Not a very definite lock in click and I did wonder whether the heads were securely fastened. That said, I am really pleased with the performance of this shaver.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT

I was initially uncertain about this shaver as I had never used one with rotary heads before. What a pleasant surprise. The heads glide easily over the skin and give a really close shave with only a few passes. The heads adapt to every contour without loss of effect. I was pleased with both the short charge time and length of use between charges. I also found the shaver easy to clean, wet or dry. The only negative that I have is that the head has to be changed before being able to use a straight cutting edge but this is only a minor niggle. Overall, I am really pleased with this shaver and would recommend it to anyone.

A smooth, quiet shave

I replaced my older PHILISHAVE with this product. I must say it is a great design and adding washing has really made it user friendly.
The shaves are smooth in half the time of a conventional shave. No mess. Fits in the travel bag easily. Battery is good for at least a week of shaves or more.
Overall, I give it a ***** rating.

Pretty fun thing to use. Cuts shaving time to half or less.No cuts or any hurt of any king. easy to clean up the nape of the neck are.

This is my third shaver in approx. 15 years. This one I have recently purchased (series 5000) is so good, modern and as near to a wet razor shave you can get.

Excellent modern shaver

I like the way to clean the razor very easy but the thing I do not like is the heads are not adjustable as on my Philippe 755 that I kept 30 years and that still worked very well I had to change it for knives that could not cut the favorite coupe is good but it is not integrated, the option charging and the electrical connection is great because if we lack battery we can continue

Adjustable

I have had this shaver for 2 months and have only had to charge a few times as battery life seems to be exceptional. I don't think the shaving performance has improved much over my previous version but being able to use shaving cream as well although inconvenient does improve how close a shave it gives and the boost function provides the extra power needed to shift the cream, washing under hot water is much more difficult and needs some patience to get the shaver clean. 
Overal I am very pleased with my shaver and would not have purchased except that it was half price and it was my birthday so thank you wife!

Battery life very good and a reasonable shave.

The razor looks great and futuristic. I have been using Philips electric shavers since age of 19 I am now 71. They have lasted me an average of approximately 20 years each and never changed the shaving heads. The only draw back with this razor is that it has no travel case and no brush to clean the razor. Small stuff but I received a travel case for all my previous razors. I think this is a mistake on Philips part lack of marketing skills on somebody.

I have not used the razor yet because I am still using one of my older models which is still working fine.

Based on past experinece, I believe that this razor will perfornm just as well. Yes I would recommed the razor but get a travel case in for the price.

This shaver on paper looks excellent, great feature with the turbo mode as well.
Personally for me the performance is under par.
On the normal shave setting it takes a while to get rid of short stubble facial hair, much slower than previous rotary shavers I've used - which have all been the ones where the head was fixed into the body.
I don't really have a stubble of steel but the shaver doesn't cope well for my face, it would be great for someone like a teenager who has just started on his, ( or even her ) shaving journey.
The turbo mode does help but it obviously drains the battery a lot quicker.

This is by far the worst shaver I have ever bought { in fact I returned it to amazon ) , it was to replace my tiered Panasonic & i only bought it because it was on special offer 
When it arrived my first impression was that it was a good looking design, so i charged it up and gave it a blast ( this is the most inappropriate description i could of used ) it has about power as dead fish !!!!! Even with the so called Turbo button pressed , poor poor poor 
I tried it again the next day just in case I wasn't doing something right , but it was the same again . Utter rubbish 
I promptly returned it back to amazon for a refund , then bought another Panasonic which is all that this isn't 
I have had philips shavers in the past & can't remember them being this rubbish
