Chops onions and other vegetables quickly.

Simple assembly and minimal effort required.

Ideal for small to regular meal portions.

[Employee of philipsglobal] I won this product at a company cooking competition, and when I first received it I didn't think I would use it that much since I already have a high powered food processor. After owning it a year, I wanted to write a review for it because I actually use this thing a lot! I think the main advantage is it's much easier and much lighter than my food processor. I make a sesame-peanut pesto weekly (peanuts, sesame seeds, sesame oil, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, FYI) and this thing has no problem blending the peanuts into a smooth sauce (I cook some rice on the side and add this pesto to sauteed veggies and tofu!). 

It works for chopping onions and veggies with the little basket, although if I don't need to blend things finer I tend to just use a sharp knife for dicing.

Also, full disclosure, I work for Philips, although not for the the branch that makes these cooking products. And to be frank I often wonder if the products are worth the typically higher prices (see AirFryers, which are considerably more than the competition), but in this case this is something I would buy if it were to break, and I would recommend it for friends.

Easy and effective

Easy to use and clean.

This device is easy to use, easy to clean, and does a great job of chopping vegetables like carrots, onions and celery into reasonably even pieces. I like to make soups and salads with diced vegetables, but I don't enjoy doing the chopping. This machine makes it quick and painless to produce the finely diced pieces I prefer without turning the vegetables into a wet mush.

I'm glad I bought it!

This chopper is dear to my heart and I find that I use it so frequently that decided to leave it on my kitchen counter. It chops small pieces that drop into the bowl for me to collect and put in a bowl or frying pan to make salsa or saute for a main or side dish. There is an alternate blade that acts like a blender for puree and mixing. I used it to puree broccoli soup and it worked perfectly. When I noticed a small fracture at the bottom edge of the bowl I called Phillips to report the problem. They immediately sent a replacement bowl that arrived after just a few days. Wonderful to do business with a company that supports its products so very well. Thank you.

Multi Chopper earns a position on my kitchen counter

Uses this chopper to make his salads daily....it works great!!  We use it in cooking also....wish we had known about this product earlier!

Love the Multi Chooper!

I have had a few choppers in my time this is the best very good results easy to clean and store. Another Philips product that is well designed and a joy to use.

Perfect chopper

We use this machine for producing bread crumbs for our Friday fish. It does this job well.
It also chops veg well and suits all our purposes.

Criticisms would be, it could have a higher wattage and therefore speed.
My last machine ended up with the splines ruined and you should be very careful to make sure that the lid is properly located before pressing the lid to start the chopper

Daily collection chopper

The power and size were fair but not for the intended use. it was good for extreme small amounts ( 50 ml) every mixture will leave a print on the motor unit ( which is unreachable with any kind of dambed cloth). After 5 days of light use, I couldn't use it any more. I've tried homos, BBQ marination and it was a really good chopper.
It would be improved by adding a gasket like part just below the motor\ blade joint.
Waiting for any advice by you.

Good for baby food only

I have just taken this out of the cupboard to use for the first time in a month. When I put it away I cleaned it scrupulously because food gets into the motor area. When I opened it up I was greeted with the foulest smell ever. It was coming from the motor housing. Several other reviewers have experienced the fact that food gets lodged in there. As for chopping, if it's anything a bit sticky it clings to the side of the bowl and doesn't get pulled in to the blades. Put water in to help and guess where it goes to? Into the motor casing, which results in the smell I now have.
