I can't find anything wrong with this razor: it cuts well, I love the trimmer and facebrush attachments, the battery lasts for about 4-5 shaves, and it cleans easily (I use the autoclean only twice a week; the rest of the time I rinse it with water). Its cut 5 mins off my morning routine.

Love the cleaning attachment, as all of the Norelco razors I have used, the 7700 gives a smooth shave, just not a really close shave. Good at closeness just not great at it. But overall a very good shaver.

Nicely Done

Did not come with a blade cover, When it hits a thick part of your beard it bogs down, not as much power as my last razor, when I shave I hear it grinding and then it says I need to wash it, cause it thinks the razor is clogged up. Even though I just started using it.

 The cleaner solution is ok, but next day it was still wet, did not dry, so I shaved with wet blades, im sure that it will clog up sooner now that it has wet hair in it.

Not Strong

I have been using Phillips/Norelco shavers for 25+ years. This model is not half the shaver that it replaced. The reason I replaced it after 20 years was that the flip up trimmer physically broke apart as I opened it. I assumed that my new shaver would be as good, or better than my previous Norelco.
It now takes two to three times longer to shave, No Exaggeration, and I still feel stubble immediately after giving up on my shave. I do not understand why it doesn't shave as close as my old Norelco. I have a cleft chin and if I am not careful the heads pinch my skin as I shave. Obviously I can't press harder here to shave closer. This is not a cheap model either!

Disappointed

This Phillips Electric Shaver is a very, very good product. There are some design issues, however, which need to be addressed:

1) Because of the wide surface area of the shaver, sometimes when you use the shaver over certain folds in the skin, or around the chin area, the shaver folds into the skin and it is uncomfortable. Narrowing the shaving area would be useful and eliminate the probem.

2) Connecting the cord to the cleaning device is strange. Why is it on an angle? It took me a few minutes to figure that out--and I could have damaged the plug in the device if I had not played with the angle of the cord very gently. That needs changing, as well.

Despite these issues, this shaver is excellent and provides a clean and smooth shave.

Good--but with two identifiable problems

I like and trust Norelco products. This one is no different. It's shaves well, holds a charge for a long time and the SmartClean system works great. All in all, very well done. The one flaw in the ointment for me is that in holding the shaver I naturally want to place my thumb in the spot where the on/off switch is....turning off the shaver while I'm shaving. I have to hold it in a bit of an unnatural way (for me) in order for this not to happen. So it's a bit clumsy. I'm sure in time I will get used to it but for now it's a minor annoyance.

My third Norelco shaver

I bought this razor to replace my well used curent electric razor that simply wasn't working that well (left struble). This new razor worked much better immediately out of the box. Now that my face and razor are adjusted to each other (less than a week) the dry shave after my morning shower is smooth and very comfortable. Cleaning the shaver head daily is quick and the weekly deep cleaning with the electronic base and cleaning solution is simple and complete. The base is heavy and rather large but I can travel with just the power cord and razor on trips without having to take the base. All around great product.

Excellent shaver

I have had the razor for about a month and enjoy using it. I took it on a vacation this last week and did not have to charge it once. It had power to spare. What I do like is the fact that you do not have to take the entire charging unit with you like I had to do with my previous Norelco, just the cord.

Great product! The battery lasts a very long time. It works very well, in fact it is the finest electric razor I have ever used. The ease of use, the ease of cleaning are some of the highlights of this great product.. I have had it about a month, there are still features I haven't used, put I am looking forward to it.

This Razor is loaded with features.

I bought this Philips Norelco Shaver, for my husband and two sons for Christmas. They all love it. Works great, well made, and the price is very reasonable. They love the features and the Wet and Dry Smart Clean System. I recommend this Norelco Shaver.

This product is excellent and delivers a comfortable shave

As a Physician and Surgeon I can get a pretty good shave with most any shaver: EXCEPT THIS ONE. Thanksgiving/Christmas shoppers save your money, buy a useful shaver. I have bought over 20 Norelco shavers in my lifetime... this one is just terrible. I will be throwing it in the trash!
