Best shave ever. Only issue I have is the instructions are not very clear in how the small display works and how to start the cleaning process. I assume that using diagrams only in the instructions is to save money when selling to many countries. But this does not help me as i need to wear glasses to see what the display is indicating. These issues my only apply to me but better clarity in the instructions would help.

Great shave but instructions could be better

Absolutely love my Philips shaver .  I bought the Philips prestige, then bought the prestige ultra  while they were half price . The ultra has more settings , ultimately the sensitive setting as first few shaves with the prestige my neck got sore . I was shaving neck last when blades warm , now I shave my neck first no problem. I like to use my new shavers alternately, swapping weekly . I really like the shaver cleaner and meticulously clean and look after my shavers and hope they last me a long time.

Was a beard man , now I'm a Philips shaver convert

I'm 53, I have always wetshaved because I have sensitive skin & I've never found an electric razor that didn't irritate my skin. I decided to try this as my first "wet & dry" razor. What a game changer! There is no irritation & I get a perfectly smooth shave.

Game changer!

I have only buy philips electric razors. But this new I nine thousand is amazing.. i also like the cleaning bath that comes with it. My old razor used to get such a nasty smell to it.After my facial, oils be on it and I'd take me forever to clean it. But after each use, I clean out the hair and then place it on top of the cleaner. This makes my razor fresh and clean every time I love that.  I get a nice clean shave every time. It also as wifi to connect to my phone to keep track of it. One of the nicest razors, i've owned so far.

Amazing features and battery life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the saver about 6 months, and the charging screen failed. I sent in for replacement, and it came no issues. The charger stand also stopped working. I wet shave and find that I need to shake the bottom and let air dry all day and then in evening set the shaver on the stand. I watch for corrosion on the bottom on shaver and on the stand and clean this off as it builds up on the copper connectors.

I have owned a 5000 series and a 7000 series shaver in the past. I decided to try this unit when I felt it was time to look for a new shaver.
I am still adapting to the feel of this unit.
The shaver definitely gives a close shave and any patches that are not smoothly shaved are cleaned up with an additional pass over the areas.
I find that the shave heads want to "grab" my skin at certain places during the shave. This appears to be at the edges of the 3 shave heads. The previous units I have owned had a rounded head and never caused this type of grabbing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an 8000 for many years. When it finally started showing it's age I decided to purchase a i9000. It is not what I expected. I do not like that the head is not removable from the razor for cleaning. The light ring is distracting. I find I spend more time looking at it (attempting to keep the correct color) instead of my face. I am not comfortable with it and for what I paid for it I should be!

Not a happy "Camper"

I don't see a need to attach the shaver by Bluetooth to my phone. I really hate that they made this razor larger. I think that Phillips should just stick to making good old shavers and skip all the doodads.

You can still shave with it!

6000 series but it doesn't seem to be. I will try it with some shaving foam to see if that's better but I am
not yet sold on this being the shaver I had hoped for.
