Ease Of Use

Ease Of Cleaning

Design

I've tried a number of different trimmers but never found a good all rounder until this one!
Manufacturers seem to be reluctant to advertise performance for the genital area so I'll do it here.
It is great for genital hair trimming and shaving. I started by trimming mine and it was incredibly easy and accurate so I thought I'd try out the shaving end too. I got somewhat carried away and a few minutes later was super smooth. I use it once a week to keep me that way and I'd hate to be without it now.

Great for managing ALL body hair.

philips.com

A good value product. Works well with excellent battery life, no nicks or cuts, with combined razor and comb it eliminates the need for looking for different heads, easy to use and comfortable design. Overall 5* item and a smooth finish experience wet or dry.

Excellent Product

This is a big improvement on the Bodygroomer from 3 years ago. New model gives you confidence that you and your bits will be unscathed.

No nicks or cuts

This excellent product does the job so easily, you wonder why you hadn't used it years ago. It reaches most areas apart from the back with ease and you are quickly left with a silky smooth body that looks good and feels brilliant. Very important was that after charging there was always more than enough power for a long session, whether on chest or legs. I am so pleased with my new look, it has done wonders for my self-confidence!

An all-round winner

Did a lot of online research, this product came on top everytime. It's expensive but worth it. Yes the others are like 40-50$ but the charge doesn't last. Was looking for a beard trimmer, body groomer & also a hair trimmer. It's perfect for all that. The bodygroom part is great as it pivots & doesn't pull hair on chest, legs, arms etc... Can be used in the shower too!
Make sure to read the instructions before you use it, for the use, cleaning, etc. Charges very fast (1 hour), lasts long. Love it.

Great product

While I was mostly pleased with the design and using this groomer, after about 10 months I noticed the battery was not holding a charge. After a full charge, it would only last a minute or two before the battery warning light would start to flash. It would only last another minute or so before it would shut down. Tried doing this several times in a row (to completely drain the battery) before charing up overnight. Unfortunately, this remedy was not effective.
A phone call to customer service has initiated a replacement unit. Time will tell if the replacement suffers the same issue.

Good, Except for Battery Life

I found design looked good, and after online reviews decided to purchase. I have found since using this product that it does work better than what i was using, but still falls short. The end with the adjustable length comb(not sure what u call it?)does not go short enough, I am finding that when you use it on the shortest length then switch to the other end, it tends to grab a lot of hairs, keep in mind this is on the private parts.
I would also like to point the end that you are supposed to use to give close shave(the end that does the hair pulling) has little cutters on either side, i am guessing to cut shorter still, can do so some damage or cutting to softer skin if not careful. It is also hard to be careful when using product on private area(cant always see where you are using product and or you are upside down, backwards or looking in two mirrors to get proper angle on things? Keep in mind i don't like getting cut or having hair pulled so i always try to pull skin tight.

Found product hard on skin around the private region

Unfortunately this particular foil does not shave entirely pain free when using it with the foil on skin (without the guard). I've had two of these foils before and they have been great but this one feels like it's scaping the skin so I'm presuming it's a bit of a dud. It would be useful if Philips would replace it. I can send this one back so they can look at it.

Not as good as previous

Just received my two new replacement heads for my Philips Body Groomer.

I would have thought coming direct from suppliers, the packaging would be alot better.

Supposed to be a new item, and it turns up in a used jiffy bag. Take the items out of the jiffy bag, to find the products packaging damaged, and bent. No seals on the packaging, looks like they have been opened.

For the price I paid for the item, would expect better care for the item, especially coming from the manufacturer.

Will definately not use Philips again due to the appalling lack of care for an customers item.
