We love Piller's smoked Black Forest ham. The taste is amazing. It is so versatile. We use it slightly grilled for bacon and ham, love it on a sandwich. We also use it on our own version of egg McMuffins instead of bacon as less fat. Highly recommend it. Enjoy.

Piller's Smoked Black Forest Ham

Caddle

The was very tasty. The smoked flavour was not too strong and a bit sweet and just the right amount of salt. It is deliciously good served both warm or cold. Cut into slices for sandwiches or chunks to fry in an omelette. The 600g will allow several servings and meals.
It's a great little staple in our meal plans.

Delicious and ready to serve anytime

This came fully cooked but improved with being baked with a little water then covered in a 375 - 80F oven for forty minutes or so. This seems to tenderize it and brings out the flavour and texture. You can slice it for a meal, cube it for pea and ham soup, cut up and add it to rice, omelettes or sandwiches - so many options. The piece I received would feed two adults and two young children. It's made in Canada from Canadian pork by a long established Ontario family business. I'd buy it again.

Nice little utility ham

I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful this smoked ham is. The texture is firm and easy to slice without crumbling. The smoky aroma noticeable but not overwhelming, and the taste is well-balanced, slightly salted with a smooth smoked finish. I used it for dandwiches and also diced it for omelets, and it worked great both ways. I would reccommend this to anyone who enjoys deli-style ham with a rich, smoky flavor.

Great flavor and perfect for sandwiches

I love the taste of black forest ham. It is so deliciously good! The quality of Pillars products are so very satisfying. Our household devours it every time it is purchased. My kids love having homemade egg mcmuffins made with Pillars black forest ham.

Tastey Quality Peoduct

 Never disappoints.

Piller's Ham

My family enjoys the Piller's Black Forest Ham. It is full of flavor with a pleasant smokey taste. We use an electric meat slicer to cut it thin for sandwiches. We sometimes cut a couple of Ham steaks off before slicing.

Piller's Smoked Black Forest Ham, Whole (600g)

I tried this brand of ham for the first time and was pleased with the taste. I always bought another brand and didn't want to step out of my comfort zone, but was not one bit disappointed. The taste was delicious and the sodium content was great. I will buy this brand again in the future and will recommend

Review of Pillers smoked Black Forest Ham

Pillers smoked Black Forest ham is ideal for a small family as it can be turned into many meals. It can be sliced into ham steaks, chopped and diced to make Western omelettes/sandwiches or added to a casserole or into a hearty soup. Smoke it on the Barbecue and enjoy the first meal of this smoked ham with roasted vegetables before turning any leftovers into the other meals. You'll enjoy all the different meals that can be made with this ham.

The great meal saver

This ham is not as tasty as its honey alternative. It's a bit too salty and lacks a flavour other than that. The texture is hit or miss depending on the cut.

Sub par to honey ham version

Piller’s Smoked Black Forest Ham, High Protein, 600 g centered front-facing whole, fully cooked 600 g ham with naturally wood smoked exterior; heat-and-eat roast ready for oven or slicing, gluten free and MSG free, often used as sandwich filling or holiday roast.
