I bought this to make paneer for the first time.  It worked well and the paneer was a success!

Does what it needs to do

I used the cheesecloth to put a bundle of herbs which I didn't want distributed into my stew. After cooking I discarded the bundle as the flavour was cooked in the stew but was not seen.

I didn't expect it to be a long, narrow stripe. If I use it to strain nut milk the pulp will come out.
