Writing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So much fun to journal and with this pen,  So much better than a traditional pan point.   Ink does not last as long as ball point, so please get ink refill.   Make Journaling FUN FUN FUN

Great pen for Journaling

Every pen Pilot makes writes extremely well. This is about the best price I have found on this model. Shipping was very fast, and the pen arrived much sooner than expected. 
If you're new to fountain pens, you will want to buy ink. It comes with a cartridge of black ink, and a converter (model con20) for using your own fountain pen inks

Great price for a great entry level fountain pen

I love fountain pens.  I purchased this to replace a handcrafted fountain pen that I just loved, but no longer worked.  This is a really nice pen, writes nice, ink flows great and I love the medium nib.  The pen feels food in my hand and I am quite happy that the lid, it just pops on and off, no twisting it on and off.  I've only had the pen for a little over a week, but as long as it keeps on writing like it does right now, I can see no problems with this pen.  I would definitely recommend this pen to another fountain pen enthusiast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent for beginners and seasoned users alike.  Pilot is one  of the Big Three Japanese pen companies and as such their pens are known for their high quality steel nibs. Comes with both an ink converter and a cartridge if you prefer. It doesn't get better than this, especially at this price point.

So far really nice pen.  I tried given the low price and it writes smoothly and no splotches.  So far so good for $20.00!  Very professional looking also

The grip section is small and the step-off is pretty large, so someone with large hands may find the grip to be uncomfortable.
