Every page in this cookbook is fabulous! It has all different kinds of foods and very detailed instructions on how make the food and what it should look like. I originally purchased the book for my daughter and before I gave it to her I looked through it and decided I wanted one for myself too. All meals are everyday foods that satisfy the need for a warm comforting meal. I even tried her beef strogonoff which I make all the time but with different ingredients and enjoyed hers better. Her foods are down home everyday meals that can be easily made. This will be one of the books I buy every new bride. Thanks Ree!

Fantastic .. family loves it

Love the pioneer woman. Great recipes, easy to follow and love that it has pics of the recipes and how to make them step by step.

Gorgeous pictures, thick pages, wonderful recipes and lots of fun stuff about Ree and her family. Anyone who enjoys "The Pioneer Woman" would love this cookbook. It's a great gift for giving or receiving.

The Pioneer Woman Cooks Dinnertime

I was hoping the top ten comfort foods were included in this cookbook but they were. Still lots of recipes to try with step by step color photos. Also each recipe has variations and food to serve with them. Also includes make ahead as well to help do some of the items the day before which cuts down on time. Ree has freezer tips, kid friendly, meatless dishes, and cowboy and cowgirl friendly! Very colorful and easy to use. I purchased one for my daughter and she loves it!  Worth the price.

Pioneer Women Dinner Time  cook book

This was a gift sent directly to my friend. She was pleased with the book but found recipes here had lots of butter, cream etc. However, she was going to try some recipes.

A nice book to have in your cookbook library.

The good:
1. The recipes are exactly what you expect. Doable, delicious, and full of a variety of favors.
2. Great step-by-step pictures.
3. Easy to find ingredients.
4. Easy to follow instructions.
5. Much like the webpage, humorous and light.
The bad.
1. The book itself is of poor quality. The pages are falling away from the binding. I went to WalMart to return my copy, only to find that they are all having the same problem.
2. The book doesn't lay open flat on the counter, because of the type of binding used. When I open it to a recipe, depending on where in the book it is and where in relation to a weak spot, it may not stay open to that page without being weighted.

Overall, I like the cookbook. If it were just about the recipes, I would give it 5 stars, but I need it to be easily usable and more durable.
