I used this to cut a piece of PVC pipe on the exterior of a house. 
Pipe could not be removed from wall to facilitate proper coating. 
Apologies for no outside photos it was just too cold while doing the job.

This tool keeps you from having to unnecessarily crawl under the house to remove a toilet flange.  You can simply cut it from above and from the inside of the pipe with this tool. This is one of those tools that once you have it, you find yourself coming up with uses for it that will save you time.  I have a generic version of this that the blade broke on and fell down the drain on first use.  The Dewalt version is so much better because of the fixed diamond blade, length, and depth cutting markings.

It does the impossible

The depth marks on this cutter are perfect for so you can keep your depth the same when cutting a pipe. The diamond blade stays sharp and seems to last a long time.

Perfect tool

The laser etching is clearly visible for quick measurements as well as still being visible while the tool is cutting. I does do a bit quicker job at cutting over a reciprocating saw. There is also less vibration than a reciprocating saw. 
This is a great pvc cutting wheel that I didn't know I needed!

The diamond grit cutting wheel is very strong and durable! It's very fast and effective for inside pipe cutting. The depth markers makes this tool perfect. I highly recommend for plumbing. Fast and effective smooth cutting

The markings on the shaft make it easy to maintain an even depth of cut while you are using it.  It snaps into an impact driver with ease and works pretty good in the impact driver.  I feel like it did work a bit better in the drill without the hamering.  The tool is very sharp and cuts fast with no smoke.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a licensed plumber working on commercial and residential new construction, I have spent countless dollars on inside cutters over the years. I can confidently say that I believe Dewalt has finally answered all of the common problems I've experienced with these tools in the past. First things first, this thing is built to take abuse. I can't tell you how many cutters I have had the shaft break on first use, but with this Dewalt I can tell it's not even thinking of snapping off. Secondly, I really appreciate the fixed wheel which eliminates that risk of the screw holding the wheel coming loose and the blade and screw dropping into a pipe that might be below concrete and hard to fish back out. Thirdly, I really appreciate the depth marking on the side of the tool. It helps to keep my cuts straighter which I have messed up in the past as well as its accuracy saves me the time of pulling out a tape measure and trying to mark the pipe or put a piece of tape on the cutter. This all comes with the added bonus of the 1/4” quick connect shank so I can slap this thing right into my impact driver which I always have with me and save me the time of schlepping out to my van to grab a standard drill. I think Dewalt really hit this out of the ballpark and I expect this tool to be a staple in my tool bag

The cutting blade is sturdy and aggressive with no flex and has a decent weight to it. I set the shower pan and ran the two inch pipe up through the waste hole, 2-1/2"s past the rubber pipe sealing grommet. Attached the inside pipe cutter to the drill and inserted it into the PVC pipe and lowered it to 2-1/2"s, per the scale on the body of the tool. I began to cut the pipe. The cutter went through the pipe with little effort. It did not "walk" and maintained the 2-1/2" cutting depth. The inside pipe cutter is well made and should last a long time. Very pleased with this tool.
