I bought this as a gift for my 10 yr old niece.  I already have this iron and she came over to make pizzelles over the holidays.  She wanted one and I told her for her birthday, I would get her one along with the anise oil to make her own pizzelles.  Can't wait to give it to her.

I have been looking for a new iron that was easy to use and easy to clean up. I was looking for one with the removable plates but this one did not have them so I was skeptical that it wasn't going to be messy. According to the instructions you are supposed to spray the plates. I didnt and I'm very glad I didn't! All I did was wash them off with water for the first time I used this, then proceeded to put my batter in. Make sure you center your batter for an even cookie. Lock it down to make them thin and crisp and no more than a minute and 20 seconds is the sweet spot for a perfectly light brown cookie. I kept checking at a minute, but each one came out perfect and all I did was slide a butter knife under the cookie to lift it and it came out perfectly, no pan spray and all I needed to do to clean it was use a dry paper towel and it was perfectly clean! I would definitely buy this again !

Dont spray plates to use it!

This works great. My only issue is the length of the cord is short making it hard to cook with my outlets in my kitchen.  It is slightly shorter than my mixer cord.  Once I plug it in it works perfectly making delicious pizzelles.

works as described. none stick surfaces  was good  only thing that would be better would-be a timer belt in .

works great i made 25 dozen cokkkies with it no problems

well took a few tries to get timing right after that it was pretty easy hardest part is measuring an exact amount of batter to put in and amount of time to cook them tastes just like store made at a way better price.

I'm giving this 3 stars because the pizzelles cooked nicely, they did not stick and it heated up quickly. Unfortunately with only my first batch of pizzelles and while using a nonstick spatula the black started to come off in 2 small areas of the maker and it got into my pizzelles which I was making for a wedding. I'm glad I noticed this prior to sending them out. Because it functions well I am contemplating getting the non stick version of this maker, however, I do plan on returning the one I've purchased.

Nonstick surface not the best

I haven't used it yet. Too busy over the holidays. However, I expect it will be fine. I noticed it did have some negative reviews and  hopefully I won't experience any issues. I will post more reviews later.
