Plasti Dip is a multipurpose, air dry, specialty rubber coating. It is ideal for a broad array of auto, RV, marine and do-it-yourself projects around the home. It protects against moisture, acids, corrosion and skidding/slipping and provides a comfortable, controlled grip. Plasti Dip remains flexible and stretchy over time and will not crack or become brittle in extreme weather conditions. It has been tested and proven in temperatures from freezing to 93 degrees Celsius. Plasti Dip applies quickly and easily to nearly any substrate material, and creates a protective coating to shield against abrasion, corrosion, mild impact, and the elements<br />Some features to keep in mind about our product: <br /><br />• Quantity: 11oz;<br />• Colour: Clear Matte;<br />• Can be applied on a wide range of surfaces;<br />• It can be dipped, brushed, or sprayed onto surfaces;<br />• Solvent-based air-dry synthetic rubber coating;<br />• Remains flexible, stretchy and will not crack, or become brittle in extreme temperatures;<br />• Temperature resistant from -30 degrees F to 200 degrees F;<br />• Ideal for DIY projects around the home.<br /><br />Note:<br /><br />It is best to clean the application surface with mild soap and water so as to remove any dirt, debris, oils, waxes, grease, or loose rust, then let dry completely. Please allow 30-40 minutes in between coats and 24 hours to fully cure and dry. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this to color my wife's crafting tools. She has various small pliers, and they are hard to grip. When this is applied to them, they are easier to handle. The coating goes on evenly. It takes a few coats to get it right. Plus, she likes pink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this stuff! It's BRIGHT and it doesn't have a thick color so if you want a bright pink you'll have to put a white coat under it!  We've put it on plastic, metal, and wood.

Bright but worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This says that it is peelable but I was unable to actually peel it off. The color was what we expected. The surface was not though. And when I tried to remove it it just became a huge mess.

You would actually have to paint 5 coats on for it to actually become rubberized. Way to high of a price and it doesnt do what it says. It also peeled right off the fisrt time something was put on it!! Very disappointed. A dip would have been way better.

Too many coats to make it rubberized.

I needed a clear spray option, and my local hardware store only had black. Plasti Dip varies between $5-$10 a can with the darker colors being the more expensive so I thought the clear may be the lower price. I thought the price was a bit low, but with it being a six pack, I thought there was a built in discount. They only sent one single can so I wound up paying about 4x the normal amount for one can....not thrilled.

Only One Can

Big fat lie on description. I knew it was too good to be true. It shows 6 cans and the description says 6 cans but they only sent 1. It wouldn't have been as big a deal had they not charged such a large amount for shipping. That definitely reinforced that maybe it wasn't too good to be true but instead it turned out to make the inaccurate listing even more insulting.
