My 3 year old loves play-doh and this candy factory is a huge hit. There are tons of different ways to make the “candy”. The candy dispenser with the little boxes take the play time to the next level. After tons of “candy” is made, we play candy store. I'm so pleased with this purchase, I'd definitely recommend. Although, just one brown play-doh container would have been just fine. After a few rounds, all the pay-doh is brown. Be prepared with backup colors!

This is the number one thing my daughter wanted for Christmas and she accidentally got 2. This set is easy to clean (important) and fairly easy to use. She doesn't really need my help (she's 7) but we have a lot of fun playing together. Haven't had any issues with the crank either, but I took note of those reviews before purchasing.

I bought this for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it! I enjoyed playing with it as well. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that she now has five containers of brown from the colors being mixed, so I plan on buying a pack of more colors for her. It's and easy fix, which is why I still gave it five stars.

Fun to mix and create

I gifted this to my nephew and he is in love with the play set. It's the perfect play set to gift a 3  year kid. The packaging is good and it's easy to place it back when done playing

Adorable

I love and have been collecting Play-Doh sets for over 20 years. From when my daughter was growing up and me babysitting to now raising my grand children. This set is Cute but over all I was really disappointed. 

Our 3 year old picked this out. It looks colorful and grand. It is easy to snap together but make sure you follow directions and assemble in correct order. 

It included 5 small containers of Doh. The candy filler holds up to 2 colors that combine and make a rectangle like chocolate candy with filling if you choose both colors. You can take the candy and feed it in the top of the Candy maker. Bears come out on the left and candy bar pieces on the right. You can create candy cups and decorations by pressing Doh into the candy molds to decorate. I find this set durable. It also has a safety feature where the handle does not spin to grasp the Play-Doh unless it is all the way closed. Our girls love the big colorful design.

 Where it falls short is candy starter tool needs an entire container almost on each side to go thru to complete one entire piece of candy so it will take 2 to 3 passes before you can break it off. The niches  in the starter trap the Doh so many unnecessary annoying places. Using the candy starter is the best way to ensure the best turn out of candy when feeding it into the top of the candy shop playset. The next part that is disappointing is that quality candy shapes dropping out of the candy playset is not the greatest and can be frustrating. It definately look nothing like the finished candy on the box. For myself I would give it 2 stars for the design of the candy starter and the quality of finished candy that comes out frustration. For the size, durability and happiness it brings past the frustration I gave it an extra star. Our girls are more mesmorized by the size and movement. I am hear full time to guide amd encourage them and help clean up. It sure would be nice if they would design boxes to accommodate the kits once they are assembled. They never have. Still love Play-Doh, just a bit disappointed in the results it gives.

This is a great item but is not very well made.  It isn't sturdy enough.  It was broken when opened on Christmas morning.  I had to return it.
