Finally got the PS5 after a treacherous 5 months of looking for it. Every time I looked at it and put it in the cart for checkout, it wouldn't go through! Now that I finally have it, kudos to Twitter and Walmart for helping me this masterpiece and keeping me happy in my worst time.

PlayStation 5

Haven't had much time to play yet, but everything is working like it should. Moving my PS4 saves, games, etc. to the PS5 was simple. The new controllers are pretty neat with their new features like a mic and speaker you can use or mute. Can't wait for a few titles coming later this year. Walmart under-promised and over-delivered. I was quite happy to receive my PS5 8 days earlier than expected.

new generation of play

Honestly Sony ha really done a great job with the Ps5, and this is coming for a more Xbox leaning player. 

The console feels premium and next gen. Especially the controller! Also the features packed into the console are a welcomed flair. For example you can play a game and share your screen to your friends in a party chat with you.

I was playing Returnal and sharing that while my buddy was playing the latest God of War and sharing that. So we each had a Picture in Picture point of view of each others game while we sat and chatted. It felt really cool to be doing that via a console.

One note: Games and value. 
Personally I think the PlayStation package feels more next gen then the Xbox Series X, even though the X is more powerful.

My biggest issue with the Ps5 is the lack of true Ps5 games, more will come in time but as of the time of writing this there isn't a ton. But if your new to the PlayStation brand there is tons to play thanks to backwards compatibility with ps4 games and PS Now. And with the PS+ Collection for new Ps5 owners you'll have a ton to play for awhile, but if you're like me and already played everything from last gen (Ps4 era) then it'll be a bit harder finding something fresh. (Returnal, Ratchet and Clank, are a great start if you like those kind of games) 

I mention all this because Xbox Game Pass is THE thing to get to get maximum value as a console gamer. You get access to a ton of games, all Microsoft 1st party studio games (the day they launch) and countless other games the day they launch for a little over the price of two full priced game purchases for the year (Xbox Game Pass Ultimate - look it up)

I love the ps5 but value wise the Xbox eco system is untouchable. (Unless PS Now gets better)

You can't go wrong though. I'd recommend the ps5 for those in love with Sony's exclusives and who want that next gen feel. Honestly it's felt like Christmas exploring the console, it's few games and it's features.

PlayStation 5 is it worth the $$$?

Everything came in excellent condition and shipping was super fast. Console is amazing and huge upgrade from my base ps4. Couldn't  have asked for more.

Great product

This is the perfect bundle to get. The extra controller let's you rotate your controllers as the battery runs out for uninterrupted play. The disc drive let's you scoop up used games at a fraction of the price that is on the PSN! I also highly recommend setting up a Walmart account and ordering to pick up from the store in case of porch pirates grabbing it while you're out at work.

Perfect Bundle

Very happy I found this without paying scalper prices.  I followed a Twitter restock page and was able to nab one.  The Last of Us 2 with the ps5 upgrade is amazing.  Can't wait for more games to get the ps5 upgrade.  It's a lot bigger than I was expecting.   It's like 3 times the size of a ps4 pro.

ITS CHONKY

It is much much faster smoother and immersive than the PS4 but keep in mind from a graphical standpoint there isn't much difference. Everything looks cleaner runs smoother and feels better especially with adaptive triggers. For the 4 people who may actually read this, if you have 0 problems with your PS4 you should wait till prices drop, more PS5 editions are released, or until more content such as games come out. If you do not have a PS4, PS5 is a great start you should buy it. (PS3 or below users, do not wait another minute… click buy dude)

On the fence? I might help you joe

Was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the bundles. The console is great and I wanted the extra controller anyways. But holy is the PS5 massive. Haha Almost the height of a mid tower pc. I don't mind it. Just didn't expect it to be this big. Might not fit on all media shelves or stands. You might need to make some room for it depending on your set up. But for what it is. It's definitely worth it.

Massive console for a Massive gaming experience

PS5 is great, original controller that comes with it is perfect, but the extra controller I purchased has a the L2 button get stuck a lot, which is extremely annoying for playing FPS shooter games. Not sure if this is a factory defect or if this was a re furbished controller, but disappointing regardless.

Extra Controller not working properly

The PS5 is absolutely amazing! Love everything about it. Unfortunately it was hard to get and ordering online was a bit stressful due to the demand. When we picked it up at the store the external box had damage but thankfully the PS5 and extra controller were not damaged. I do hope in the future they will take more care of the packages. I would have been very upset if my order was damaged.

The second remote has a defect and I'm unable to exchange it because I will need to return the whole package. Which is just ridiculous. So this really made me regret purchasing anything from Walmart.
