Works great, got the PS5 in one day from Walmart. I sold my Digital PS5 and bought this because I wanted the option to watch DVDs and play my old disc PS4 games I have. I had the extra SSD card upgrade in my old PS5, I placed it into this one and all my games were still on it too so I didn't have to format for this new PS5, the upgrading is very easy for anyone considering adding more space in the future. I was done in about 3 minutes tops, it's a bit faster than the Digital version to upgrade. So far I like the smaller size, it runs perfect might actually run a bit cooler than the fat PS5. My old one went five years without a problem before I sold it I don't foresee me having any issues with this one either. These are great systems to purchase, take it from someone who's owned one since 2020.

Sold my older PS5 for this one with a disc player

walmart.com

Bought it for myself so I can keep up with brain actions for later in life. Plus I didn't have anything but Atari when it first came out and nothing since. Great price and Keeps me sharp. Plus it is fun. Helps to stay connected to my son that had all of boxes growing up. Definitely reccomend the PS 5, 5 disc unit.

i just started gaming again. My last console was a ps3, and i absolutely love the ps5, but my only gripe is u basically need wifi for almost every game (at least to set up story mode). the days of just putting a game into the console and just playing are gone. Other than that i love it.

What can I say, If you want the best console available today, this is it. I prefer the one with the disc drive for game availability and ability to use any disc, new, used, rental, etc... There is not enough advantages f9r the Pro Model over this to justify the exuberant price difference. Overall, the best machine for the money, I would definitely buy new vs. used.

It is a Beast

Bought for an updated gaming experience and it hasn't disappointed! Great graphics and gameplay. Glad I got my disc drive before Sony decided to bomb physical media. Buy them while you can if you are like me and prefer the combination of both a digital and a traditional, physical game catalog.

Amazing ….my husband been wanting to up grade from a ps4 for a while so I bought him the ps5 for he's birthday!!!!!! And omg he was so excited way different than the ps4…. The ps5 is way faster and easier to set up he love it I'm glad I was able to get it for him. So if you're thinking about getting a ps5 you will not regret it!

Wow!

The graphics are very good I came from Xbox and I noticed how responsive it was and the console is child friendly with lots of games for kids to play even the ray tracing looks very good

Ps5 for the win

If you can get your hands on a PS5, brace yourself — it's a whole different universe of gaming glory. The visuals aren't just “good,” they're the kind of stunning that makes your eyes do a happy little dance. Pair it with a 4K or, if you're feeling extra fancy, an 8K TV, and the graphics practically leap out of the screen like, “Surprise! We live here now.”

This model includes the Blu-ray drive and comes with everything you need to dive right in: one controller, one high-quality HDMI cable (use this one — your PS5 will love you for it), one USB-C charging cable, a stand, and a power cord.

And let's talk about that DualSense controller — because wow. It's insanely comfortable, almost like it was sculpted by some benevolent gaming deity. The haptic feedback doesn't just vibrate; it speaks to your hands, pulling you deeper into the game in the most deliciously immersive way.

In short: the PS5 is an experience. And it absolutely delivers. 🎮✨

Controller wouldn't charge fully and kept disconnecting. I bought another controller as I work through resolution to exchange the faulty one. I've been in contact with customer service and returning it to my local store today.

Purchase was smooth but controller was defective

Sony doesn't deserve people buisness with the digital control they are pushing and lack of hard copies of games and disk drives digital is not ownership
