The Educational Insights Playfoam Cupcake Cafe Set has been a wonderful and fun addition to my toddlers toys. She loves playing bakery and the cards give her something to follow along to when she's not making her own creations. After being left out for 2 days the product did not dry out. I would recommend this product!

Educational Insights

This imaginary cupcake set was a perfect toy for helping to build motor skills and was good for sensory play. I think this product would compare to the likes of PlayDoh or clay, in the building aspect, but texture wise feels and looks more like you're playing with a Rice Krispie treat. It's not sticky though, so that was a major plus in my house! This toy was great for color recognition and imaginary play, so you could make different varieties of cupcakes. I would purchase this product and recommend it to friends and family. During my recommendation though, I would note that this should be played in an area that could be easily cleaned after the fact. The foam does stick together well, but an occasional ball would fall off here and there during play. The foam can also be hard to get out of the cupcake container when it's hardly pressed in it, but overall is a great toy. My daughter is 11 and could not resist playing with this foam toy as well.

Fun and Engaging Cupcake Toy Set

Such a fun activity for kids of all ages. My 2 year old, 5 year old, and 7 year old were all engaged and having fun. My older two enjoyed following the cards to make their cupcakes and then explored different combinations. This was a fun sensory experience for the 2 year old. Definitely recommend for some engaging and fun play time!

This set was a lot of fun for my son to be able to get creative when it came to being able to design. It was also great for sensory play with him being able to feel and touch it as he was molding them to create the cupcakes. I like that he could place things inside of the cupcakes. This is great for little minds!

Lots of room for creativity!

With three year old twins and an 18 month old, I'm always looking for educational items that keep their attention. The foam itself is sticky to pull apart, but it does not leave your hands feeling sticky. Just like play dough and kinetic sand, once the colors are mixed, they are pretty much mixed.  My kids loved making these foam cupcakes. We first did our own style cupcakes. They loved being able to put the candles on top and sang "Happy Birthday" almost the entire time. The kids also enjoyed matching their cupcakes to the cards. This would be a great birthday gift for any kiddo and I would highly recommend to all parents. 
The only down side is that I do wish the packaging that the foam came in felt a bit more permanent.

Absolutely love!

This is absolutely wonderful for sensory play! My oldest son doesn't like when his hands get "dirty" so activities like this are wonderful to help introduce him to new textures. It allowed him to focus on the fun and the outcome of his cupcakes instead of what it left his hands looking like. This definitely requires parental supervision if you are going to try to allow any young children play with it due to the small pieces and the obvious taste testing temptations, but over all this is such a fun kit and we look forward to continuing to play with it more!

So much fun!

My girls are 6 and 3 and they loved making different cupcakes! They played this with my dad and my two brothers who are 18 and 21 years old. I think my brothers were having more fun than my daughters. It's definitely an activity that's fun for the whole family and keep them busy for hours! I love how it doesn't make a mess like other sensory items and it doesn't dry out so it can be used over and over again!

Amazing product!

My son absolutely loved the Educational Insights Playfoam Cupcake Cafe Set. He could easily Identify the colors and patterns in the card set and was able to use the card to make the cupcakes with the foam. This set kept my son's attention. I would absolutely buy other products included in this brand.

My two kids age 3 and 5 enjoyed this set. They didn't play by the "rules" but they enjoyed making different designs and shapes out of the playfoam. Kept them busy for quite a while.

Fun for Preschool Age Kids!

The play foam cupcake cafe is a fun and simple toy. The play foam comes in bright colors and kind of feels like when you make Rice Krispies but looks like mini dippin' dots I like that it comes with cards so your little one can try to create the design on the card. Keep an eye on them though because mine tried to eat it unfortunately. The foam feels very dry but sticks together well. When layering the colors they will stick to each other so be careful if you don't want them mixed. I love how the box turns into a cupcake Cafe to display your creations. This is good for color recognition and matching. Best for age 5 to 7.

Colorful and Fun!

While this is fun for the kids, its not fun for the parents as the foam gets everywhere making it a hassle to clean.
