[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is wonderful for children over 4+ years old, it allows them to express their imagination in rescue through playing and helps them build on what their future asperations will be as an adult. It is colorful and hands on playing. You do need to be careful if there are younger children in the home because of small pieces that could be a choking hazard.
You child will have hours of fun pretending to be a fire fighter or doing air rescue especially if mom or dad work or volunteer in their local fire companies.
My grandson loves to play with this fire station especially when the weather doesn't permit out door play time.

fun playing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yep I have two grand kids (both boys) and now they both want to be fireman or copper pilots or pole sliders I think they are still trying to figure it out. Anyway they get along well with each other and play well together and this fire station has enough part and things to do to keep them both busy.

My Grandkids Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, this is a project parents must do with the littles, lots of parts and more than a little construction time. We had alot of fun putting it together. The directions are not super easy to follow, but it's also difficult to really mess up. Oh, and step 1, that yellow and black piece is a tool, which I didn't figure out til about the 4th page. The finished product is pretty sturdy with enough parts to move around that kids are not instantly bored!

It's a hit with my 5 year olds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this playmobil Fire Station from Walmart and I was eager to assemble it with my 4 year old nephew. I was disappointed. The kit has 181 pieces, very similar LEGO. There are some small pieces and some larger pieces. The smaller ones are mostly connectors between large pieces. These don't snap very easily. The instructions in the booklet are not very clear to understand. The parts didn't come in separate bags. So it was harder to follow instrauctions and connect. But now that it is completed, my nephew enjoys it thoroughly especially the helicopter.
A fun toy to assemble and enjoy.

Easy assembly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing the Playmobil City Action Fire Station as a Wal-Mart Sparks Reviewer. I was just a little overwhelmed when I opened up the box and saw it had 181 pieces that I had to put together. I took the picture so you could see what I found when I opened the box. Before I go any further there are A LOT of small pieces so a warning if you have small children. It is recommended for 4+ but even at that age I would watch them with this toy. Now it's been awhile since I have put together a toy like this but I'm doing it for my grandkids as a surprise when they come over! So, it took me about a half hour to get it together. I first built the fire house which comes with a fire pole, beds and a siren (you will need to put batteries in the siren). Then I built the helicopter and three fire people. It also comes with stickers to apply to different areas to identify them. That was the hard part for me, but it was all worth it when the kids came over and saw the finished fire house and they all had great big smiles on their faces! They loved the fire pole and siren as well as the helicopter, there were lots of rescues going on for quite some time before all of the firemen came back to the fire house and went to bed to get some rest before the siren went off again (which wasn't long)! They all loved playing with it!

Playbook Fire Station

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I told my two grandsons that I had a surprise for them and I needed their help. Logan 9 and Aiden 7 were so excited when they saw the huge Play Mobile Firehouse. I told them that they could have it on one condition that they would have to help me build it. They were so excited but only for a minute . The boys found that it was very difficult to connect the first little red piece, part 48x 30 08 6900 to part 3x 30 08 4672. The pieces did not connect easily and it was a struggle for them. I tried and tried and I couldn't get the one little piece in place. Grandpa tried and tried he was struggling as well and this is only the first two pieces!

Logan and Aiden quickly lost interest. It wasn't as easy as they thought it would be. I too gave up biut grandpa kept at it for hours. Grandpa finally got a pair of pliers and finally was able to fit the part in. He found that the yellow parts were much easier to attach and didn't need the pliers for those pieces. As the construction progress, parts that snapped on were easy. Uncle Steve came home and started helping. He found a part that didn't seem to fit anywhere. Steve checked the instructions he found that the part was not a part but it actually was a tool to help snap on the little red pieces. It would have been helpful to have some written instructions.

Five hours later the fun finally begins. It was time to add all the fun parts like the helicopter, the pole, desk and crew. Logan wanted to work on those pieces. He had fun putting the helicopter together with uncle. The helicopter was the easiest thing to assemble and looks great with the crew member seated. There are three crew members. They are very cute dressed in uniforms to fit their jobs. Equipped with helmets, a walk talkie and bull horn ready for action. The control paneled desk is very detailed with a built in key board, microphone and came with a nice office chair.

Uncle and Logan worked together putting the stickers /decals in the designated areas giving the firehouse a nice detailed touch. Other nice amenities are the two beds (don't know where the third person is going to sleep) fire hydrant, flag, pole, satellite dish and siren. There is a tiny white button on the box of the siren that looks like it should make a sound. I pressed the button but nothing happens. As cute as it is, the firehouse is not very sturdy, it kept falling apart which was rather frustrating.

I have to say this toy really isn't that kid friendly nor adult friendly considering the fact that my 7 and 9 year old grand sons were able to connect the first two parts together. That made them lose interest right away. The fact that three grown ups had problems and it took no less then 5 1/2 hours from start to finish. I would not recommend the Playmobil Firehouse.

Nice firehouse, difficult to assemble, not sturdy.

Together with Uncle Steve they placed decals in the designated areas adding very nice details to the firehouse. There are three crew members all dressed in proper uniforms to fit their roll as a firefighter. Complete with cute helmets a walkie talkie and bull horn ready for action. Other pieces like the control paneled desk with a built in key board, microphone, and a nice desk chair completed the work area. Nice firehouse, not very sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No one was very happy about assembling this with too many parts. My grandson is 2 and I think he's too young, but the toy is too babyish for my 8 yr old grandson. I have mixed feelings about this toy and I don't think I would recommend it.

great toy
