Venture into undiscovered worlds with the Mars Space Station! Equipped with all the tools needed for space exploration, the station is ready for a successful mission! Thanks to the functioning lights beneath the central hub, astronauts can easily find their way back to base.  Then, enter the illuminated station interior via the front ramp and through the secure rotating hatch.  Once inside, astronauts can enter the central command space, from which all missions are monitored, or choose one of the modules, equipped with everything from sleeping compartments for the crew to a lab for analyzing samples.  The two free docking stations allow the crew to connect external equipment, such as the Mission Rocket with Launch Site and the Satellite Meteoroid Laser (#9488 and #9490 – each sold separately). During their down time, the astronauts can keep in shape with the station’s fitness equipment.  To access the interior, pull off the station’s removable roof and get hands on with all aspects of the mission.  The movable laser gun helps protect against unknown elements, while the alarm lights and sound warn against any threats. Other sound effects, including radio contact, jet propulsion, and background space noises, add to the fun and bring the mission to life (2 x AAA batteries required)!  And, what would space adventures be without a trusty robot to guide you?  The included robot may be a machine, but watch out for all its different faces. Turning its eyes will change its facial expression. Set includes two astronauts, one robot, space station, computer, tools, food supplies, space crystals, telescope, video recorder, and tons of other accessories. Amazing toy. This will last kids years to come as it is still fun for me to play with these when we play together and when I build with them they enjoy the bonding time. Its a great toy company and I use to have a few sets back in the 90's and they were second hand and probably from the mid 80s. These are quality and hard to break honestly. Germany makes these toys. Check out the VW T1 bus that is one of the must have toys for any boy or girl. Timeless too.

I have "LIKED" Playmobil first watching and joining in with my thirty-five-year-old son and now my four-year-old grandson. My husband has even purchased sets for me.

Hours of happy analytical, joy and fun!

A gift for my grandson who loves playing with the 30+ yr old sets at my house. This will be his own first set and he will be excited to receive it as he loves all things space related and Playmobil, too. Perfect timing with the recent eclipse. 

It's a substantial sized box and appears challenging but the plan is for us to work on it together. There is excellent play value with Playmobil and the pieces are creative, solid and fun. Find one that interests your child and watch their imagination soar!

Playmobil Is Always a Hit!

This is so much fun! It's beautifully designed and my daughter loves it (as do I!). The sleep pods and the science bay are based on the ISS, it's got laptops, helmets and spacewalk gear, so bits are accurate . The airlock is cool too. One of Playmobil's best designs! Love that there are diverse astronauts too. Easy to assemble. Highly recommend!

Great toy.    Playmobil toys do take some adult  time to put together but my 7 year old son has played with this toy non stop since getting it for his birthday.

Great toy.

Well built toys for 4-12 yr. olds , parents need to help with instructions and assembling, but afterwards, kids can enjoy playing with these sturdy wonderful toys.  We have plastic containers to keep all small parts in, which works great.

High Quality toys

It did take a good hour to build. But worth for all the fun my son will get out of it. So far he loves the robot. Watching a Playmobil video about the product has helped him understand what the toy us about. He is 3.

A wonderful birthday gift

4 1/2 year old got this as his special present. Dad and sister put it together with him but he has really enjoyed it for many hours of playing. Highly recommend by the space rocket as well.

Hours of entertainment

A nice toy but takes awhile to construct. My 6 year old needed a lot of help. 187 pieces! No rockets are included even though they are pictured on the box as part of the set. He was disappointed there were no rockets.

Never received it, yet when I ordered it, it was in stock. Walmart cancelled my order, I wish I had been made to wait for the item to be in stock since I had a good price.
