My son loves this Heatwave but does get very frustrated with the ladder. It does not stay on properly and is hard to extend like others have stated. But despite the ladder he loves it, he especially loves the size of it. It's not as big as the ones that dont transform but a very good size. He has the Blades and Boulder also that he loves. My only other complaint is that they dont seem to make a Chase :(

My 5 yr old grandson really likes this. It's easy for him to transform into fire truck. Only problem is the ladder won't stay on truck.

Good buy

My son loves this toy and it is very easy to transform. As others stated the ladder is an issue. Regardless my son still loves to play with it. I agree it is disappointing that there is no chase as he owns the other 2 and chase is his favorite.

Transforming heat wave

I would not recommend this toy. The ladder (in both robot and car transformation) doesnât stay affixed and detaches easily from bumps or adjustments. Too hard for a little one to place back constantly and constantly asking me to fix every 5 seconds... It should have been made better for this age group.

Ladder design is flawed

The ladder doesn't click in properly, so as soon as child tries to aim ladder up it falls off. It's also very difficult to extend ladder and can not be done while attached. The wheels are at almost the exact level as other bottom parts so it can only be rolled on tables or flat ground not even the lowest carpet. VERY disappointed
