Heavy duty? What exactly does that mean?

The center arm is made from 3/8" square wrought iron. The two outer arms are made from 1/4"X1/2" wrought iron. These tongs are SOLID and they are STRONG!

Jaws open to 17" wide. Will easily accommodate a log of 10" diameter.

I have seen the exact same item online from no less than three other vendors for $43.

You, too, will have no regrets with these tongs.

I have been looking for fireplace tongs for our outdoor fire pit all summer. I didn't want to spend a lot since we don't use it a lot. I found these online and thought they would be OK for the the little amount I would use them. When I got the tongs I was amazed at the quality. These are heavy duty tongs that will last me forever. In a day and age where everything is made cheap and flimsy these tong are built to last a lifetime. Thanks for making a great product at an amazing price!

Fireplace Tongs

Would like to see USA made products instead of overseas

Got this actually for a back yard fire pit.  Tongs are OK if all you want them for is to pick up larger (3"-5") diameter wood pieces using both hands. The tongs can be a bit awkward to use, depending upon length of material, and for anything smaller, they are pretty useless because the design; 3 curved opposing fingers,  2 curving one direction, 3rd opposite, with about 1-1/2" separating the tips when closed. So trying to actually use them for anything but dropping larger material onto top of the grate or pile of burning embers would be a real challenge!  Price was a steal .. if I they were really useful!  Returned.

Poor design

It broke the first time I used it. All I did was flip over a small log and the end piece broke right in half.
