I like this design because it is simple and has no “feet” so it sits right on the brick and does not stick out too far. But it is very sturdy. When not in use, I keep it flush again the fireplace opening and it looks great! Gives this plain fireplace some much needed personality. Compared to others that cost 3-5 times more, I recommend! Easy to fold up and put away as well.

I have a small fire place and I was tired of fighting with the spark screen. I viewed Walmart's web sight for fire place screens and came across this gem. The dimensions described were perfect for my fire place. I ordered on line and picked it up a little over a week later. The quality is very good, the price was reasonable. This is not a heavy screen. It can be moved with little difficulty. My wife and I have about 100 wood fires a year. This screen keeps the sparks with in the safe area of the fire place and does not distract the view of the fire. Satisfied!

nice protective screen

I purchased two to use as a doggie gate across a wide hallway into our family room. Where they meet in the middle makes a nice little door we can open and walk through . They are much prettier than standard dog gates and about a $150.00 cheaper than standard gate. Even our new 84lb lab is staying put.
