I really like the cozy log heater. It puts out enough heat for a small room.  The  cord for the plug is on the lright side and my outlet is on the far left.  It just made it to plug it in. I am glad because you can't use an extention cord.   Other than that, it's a nice addition to the room.

I have not used the heater yet,but I have turned on teh light?flames and it relly  looks nice in my fireplace. It is an all brick fireplace and the previous owners burned real wood, I choose not to do that (re house fire when I was young), this beautiful piece gives me a sense of a real homemade fire. Very sturdy,worth the price.

haven't tried the heater yet, but love the look of the "fire" burning.

Love this insert for my fireplace. It fit perfectly. It makes my living room nice and cozy. Heats very well and is very pretty to look at. Gave it 4 stars because there is no crackling sound. Not a deal breaker but would have loved to hear it. Great for the price!!

Awesome Insert!!

fire place is very nice and perfect fit where I wanted it to go.  I do not hear any cracking but over all this is very nice and blows off great heat..

I have really enjoyed this item. It met all my expectations. The only thing I wish it did a little better was heat the room. You have to stand right next to it to feel any heat. But it looks great in the space I needed to fill. It arrived on time and was very easy to install - just plugged it in! Really made our little living space inviting.

Works pretty well. It doesn't look that real but then again it isn't real. We put it in where we had a gas fireplace at one time and it fit well. The remote is nice. It heats pretty well and you can feel it a few feat away but don't depend on it to heat your house which we knew it wouldnt. The only down side is that it doesn't crackle like it says it does.

Due to the inner firebrick  top slant on our KozyHeat airtight Fireplace, I could not fit the Unit into the firebox no matter how I tried.  So, I returned the Unit to a local WalMart Store Customer Service for credit even though I had ordered online.  We had no chance to evaluate the working appearance, etc. The lesson learned is that you cannot judge the fit by only considering the front fireplace insert dimensions.

Less than an inch too Large..

The only correct thing about this item's title is the fact that it's electric. No crackling, just noise, and no heat unless you hold your hand right on the heater. Very disappointed so I returned it to Walmart.
